If you are going to offer irreducible complexity as evidence against evolution, shouldn't it be experimentally demonstrated? If it hasn't been experimentally demonstrated, can it be considered evidence?

I cut and pasted the stuff below since I'm sure many will ask what I mean:

Mithra was born of a virgin on December 25th in a cave, and his birth was attended by shepherds.
He was considered a great traveling teacher and master.
He had 12 companions or disciples.
Mithra's followers were promised immortality.
He performed miracles.
As the "great bull of the Sun," Mithra sacrificed himself for world peace.
He was buried in a tomb and after three days rose again.
His resurrection was celebrated every year.

The UNICEF ads have made me wonder how others respond to these ads and this topic. What does your spirituality lead you to feel regarding starving, poor, needy children? I think simple human compassion qualifies as "spirituality".

What action do you take and why? Spiritual or not.

I have been trying to find the location of the verse, "Hate the Sin, but Love the Sinner" without any success. Is this actually a quote from the Bible, or just Christian teaching?

Luther and anti-Semitism
See also: Martin Luther and the Jews and On the Jews and Their Lies
In his treatise On the Jews and Their Lies, published in 1543 as Von den Juden und ihren Lügen, Luther wrote "set fire to their synagogues or schools and to bury and cover with dirt whatever will not burn, so that no man will ever again see a stone or cinder of them… I advise that their houses also be razed and destroyed… their prayer books and Talmudic writings, in which such idolatry, lies, cursing and blasphemy are taught, be taken from them… their rabbis be forbidden to teach henceforth on pain of loss of life and limb… that safe-conduct on the highways be abolished completely for the Jews. For they have no business in the countryside, since they are not lords, officials, tradesmen, or the like. If darkness has a reality of it's own , it should be able to exist in the presence of light. Evil connotates absence of good and thus has no reality of its own. see verse 45:6 below.

45:5 I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me: 45:6 That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else.

45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
