Lord Carey the former Archbishop of Canterbury put it rather well – “Creationism is the fruit of a fundamentalist approach to scripture, ignoring scholarship and critical learning, and confusing different understandings of truth”! The Pope, Catholic Church, Church of England and mainstream churches all accept the big bang and evolution! Nice that Christians and atheists can agree and laugh together even if it is at fundie expense! But behind the laughter is the despair at the fundamentalists striving so hard to destroy Christianity by turning it from a religion to an ideology! Surveys suggest that 29% of American Christians are so extremist in their beliefs that they fall well outside of the accepted bounds of Christianity! Seems as well that you have no idea about genetics either! The four letter code that constitutes the DNA of all living things changes over time; for example individual or several letters can be copied incorrectly [substitution], lost [deletion] or gained [insertion]. Such changes can lead to functional and structural changes in genes and proteins and ultimately to the formation of new species. Insertions are much more common whilst deletions appear to be rare.

I come to poke fun at bible waving idiots who believe all they are told like the Hitler Youth in WWII of the Hardcore Muslim kids of today.

I used to be a Christan because my family got me in a two weeks of age. I went to religious training for 12 years and then started traveling and discovered the real truth. I was given an out at age 37 and bailed when a holy man tried to tell me with whom I should associate.

I won't divulge what I found as a substitute but will ask you to look at the Da Vince Code, Chariots of the God's and determine who it is similar to the bible in content.

The Geico cavemen with their heavy brow ridges don't appear to be Homo sapiens....more like Homo heidelbergensis. So, no they don't really look like evolutionists (who are all Homo sapiens).

"Nerds," of course, is a term of derision used by the learning challenged and the uneducated, to describe the intelligent and educated. Are you learning challenged or just uneducated?

Finally, do you see any irony in the fact that YOU are venting in this forum against educated, intelligent people? (I can see your furrowed brow. LOL).

Nerds, by the way, are smarter than most people ;o)
