They want to save their lives.

Because Hospitals have medical staff, churches don't. Right now my brother in law is laying in ICU with a respirator shoved down his throat, should they pull that out and rush him to a church? The hands of the Priests are filthy dirty, and not the hands God uses to save lives. My husband was in this position 3 times, two "angels" handed him back to me alive, three times. Preachers are useless, and good for nothing.

There could be a chance the hospital could save that person. Its better to take a person to the hopital than to take them strait to church. They need doctors help. When you take a person thats dying to the doctors you know you got a chance. Church is a place for people to pray and worship god . Maybe in some religions there could be a possibility that people have to take people to the church to prepare them for there after life. In all its better to have people taken to the hospital to see if they can save that dying person. Thats just my opinion.

We know for a fact that hospitals can save people from dying, but we are not sure what church will do to help.

What can churches do except consoling. At least doctors in hospitals can offer some help even though they may be dying.

Because ambulance crew members are not qualified medically or legally to decide whether or not someone is "dying."

And the last time I looked, churches don't have emergency rooms in them.

Because I'd rather have a Dr try to save me than a man of the cloth!

And how would you know what demonination of Church to take them too?

Doctors and other medical personnel take a vow to save life - not souls. It is their job to attempt to save the life of the people under their charge.

I know if I was dying, I'd rather risk being diddled by a naughty nurse than a pervert priest.

Coz dying people deserve the chance to get saved even if there's only a very slight chance for that to happen.
