You have no idea how much they meant. Before I finally got to sleep after 5 a.m. that morning, I checked on here for any responses. I was overwhelmed with the caring messages you all sent me. I'd like to pray for you in return.

You just don't WANT to believe in God. It's beyond Evolution and the Bible, or the Quran, or whatever . . . it's all about YOU and your PRIDE.

I couldn't bring myself to have my children baptised into any kind of religion when they were babies, but would now like them to experience some kind a rite of purely spiritual blessing, so they'll always that know they belong to Light (for whenever the going gets tough in the future...:).

Can anyone suggest appropriate, but simple, ritual(s), that could be performed at the beach or in a forest?
How do I choose a person who would perform those rituals?
Can a friend do it, providing they are spiritually 'inclined'?
What about godparents, and their role in the ritual(s)?

Any suggestions and experiences would be greatly appreciated.

As a Deist, I believe in a God, AND I also believe in evolution. My belief is based on reason, logic and the evidence. Why must God and evolution be exclusive from each other?

This mom is trying to get Harry Potter banned, even though she admits she's never read the book. Is this a common view among Christians?

This is kinda the next part of my last question. What evidence do we have of evolution? The lack of transitional forms is what gets me. You know if at one point we were monkeys where is the half human half monkey fossil? And does Lucy really count? (I’m sure you know what I mean by Lucy) The same with any other animal that evolved? I for one would think the world would be full of them. What is the evidence? i want to know so badly?

Evolution IS a lie! You atheists know it.

I would like to be the first atheist/evolutionist to apologize. Satan has made us pawns, and we are being used to forward these lies.

Additionally, it is a lie that the Earth goes around the Sun.

It is also a lie that the Earth is round, it is in fact flat.

We are part of an international global conspiracy to forward the lies of Evolution, round earth theory, and the theory of the solar system having planets orbit the sun,

additionally but this isn't something they've taught me, but there really is no such thing as an Atom or Gravity, the Theory of Gravity is also a lie.

I apologize.

Help us! Save us! Quote from your Bible soon

Is this true or just a saying.

If it is true, then please explain how that happened. I mean we have books falling out of the sky and smacking Muhammad in the head and mountains moving around by themselves.

Could he have been walking under a balcony when someone threw a book he was writing and was displeased with out the window and it happened to strike Muhammad on the head?

Could the mountain that moved to Muhammad really have been just a sand-dune that was blown by a desert storm? I's like some input here.

Taking away health insurance from stay-at-home parents and their kids? How, exactly, does this contribute to or protect the "sanctity of marriage" or benefit even a single family or child? EVERYONE knew this was the likely outcome when they voted Yes on Michigan's "marriage amendment"- every newspaper in the state predicted it- and though the "Family" groups denied this was their goal despite the carefully crafted language, they wasted no time at all filing lawsuits once it passed.

Of course, a straight couple that chooses to shack up without marrying, maybe have a few kids, can continue to receive domestic partner benefits. Yet a gay couple together for a decade raising kids rescued from a third-world orphanage cannot jointly adopt in Michigan, so the legal parent is stuck working full-time so the kid has health insurance.

Do you value appearances and "sending the right message" over real people and real families?
