Would the poor astronauts be left behind, wondering where everybody went?

And what if we eventually build colonies and/or space stations? God never mentioned outer space in the bible?

People who equate communism with atheism are fools. Communism as was practiced by the Soviets, for example, or in Cuba now, is NOT actually communism at all! Stalin's "communism" was actually tyranical dictatorship--the common good, which is the CENTRAL TENET of actual communism, was not a factor AT ALL in the USSR.

CHRISTIANITY, in its true form, is far closer to communism than Soviet-style so-called Communism... think about the true ideals of Christianity (not how most hypocritical so-called Christians practice their faith)-- being selfless, acting for the COMMON GOOD, respecting & loving your neighbors, donating to charity (i.e. giving up your wealth to boost that of others--BALANCING OUT WEALTH!), etc... Jesus was the original hippie, & the original communist too!

Now, most Christians are hypocrites & don't practice their faith as it's meant to be practiced... because a true Christian essentially IS a communist! NOT atheists, who are free thinkers and INDIVIDUALS!

Personally, I don't care about typos, but poor paragraph strucutre is very distracting and can make it very hard to understand what you are saying.

Long questions by Christians seem to fall into one of two categires: 1) No paragraph breaks and sometimes no capitalization; 2) An extreme over-abundance of paragraph breaks.

post up our testimonies too? spread what we believe by telling everyone how wonderful our life is or what our belief has done for us?

ill go first: my lack of being a christian has given me more time to spend with my family, has widened my view of the way others percieve things. im no longer narrow minded and can only see one truth, but i can see how people believe different things. ive become more tolerant of other peoples beliefs, and in the end less irratable by people who dont believe what i believe.

Let's spread the love of God through our testimonies! Let the praise of God ring on Yahoo! I'll start it off w/a friend's testimony. I have a friend who was 26 yrs old when she was diagnosed w/throat cancer. The doctors did not discover the cancer until it well into its development stages. The docs told her if the cancer would've been found "any" later than when it had been, she probably would've died. So, she prayed and we (family/friends) prayed w/her as she went through chemo. To make matters more complicated, she was in the process of finishing her doctorate degree and she was due to be done within the next few months. How about this - God not only healed her of the cancer (because some people do go through chemo & don't get healed) but no traces of the cancer can be found in her system anymore. (Cherry on top)During the chemo she had more than enough energy (because chemo can drain u) to continue in & finish school ontime w/her doctorate! Hallelujah! W/God all things r possible!

attended a worship service and you were either ignored or you ignored other people? I can assure you that there are many hurting people in every service. Many are going through unwanted divorces, having family problems, going through cancer and other medical problems. Just feeling in general unloved.

We are Jesus hands and feet. We are the body. We need to show love to people who come to worship Him. Just turn around and notice someone who is there alone or a new family attending. Welcome them. Let them know that they are loved and noticed.

At least I know to watch my wallet around atheists.

Liberal Christians seem to want the label without the actions.

If you believe in God, and he showed himself to the world at 8.30pm tonight, by, say...some global act of omnipresent activity....

Would your faith be diminished or enhanced?

The various religious factions in Iraq seem to have no idea on human relations. They want to kill each other for what are the most trivial reasons. They are even worse than Protestants and Catholics. When will we learn that brainwashing children into religious prejudice and intolerance is a crime. Let us all stop believing in irrational and outmoded religion. Let us instead start believing in the essential logic of human kindness.

I recently attended a study where the preacher traced Jesus lineage back to King David through Joseph! This bothered me (wish I had spoken up but I didnt )
since Joseph was not his father his lineage has no bearing on his descent from King David!
However did you know that in Jewish Halakhic tradition only a person born of a Jewish mother is considered to be a jew, hence jewish descent is passed on from the mother! and Mary could trace her own lineage to David!
