are forced....but i live in the UK, and i have also of convert friend who weren't forced and they have become muslims? can anyone tell me why? from other peoples pointsof views!! thanks

It's because of the propaganda from the media. They try to make Muslims look bad so that they can continue to justify the "war on terror." It's disgusting behavior, and I apologize for it.

Salaam I'm a muslim from South Africa and a very very proud one at that! no human being can be forced into any religion it is a persons choice, and for any convert, reverting to the muslim faith is a very wise choice, our Creator will surely be proud of such a person, and will take special care of such a person and his or her entire life will prosper, things will only go well for such a person.

In Southern Nigeria Christians and muslims got along so there was no pressure, but in Northern Nigeria, it could cost your live it you wanted to be Christian (or something other than a Muslim) so If you wanted to be a Christian it had to be because it was worth dying for to believe. And many in Northern Nigeria are willing to pay the price. I met a pastor there who didn't know any of his brothers or sisters because they were muslims and when he became a christian they didn't try to kill him but they considered him dead to them.
