If you believe in God, and he showed himself to the world at 8.30pm tonight, by, say...some global act of omnipresent activity....

Would your faith be diminished or enhanced?

It would be the same. Unbelievers would explain such an event away by saying it was a government hoax or whatever. And since the Bible is full of stories of people rejecting God even after being revealed it would be no help for unbelievers. However, I already see God’s hand on everything He created so such an event would be more frightening than faith enhancing.

Enhanced

...and on a side note,if you got an issue, with me, then go get you a box of tissue and change your diaper while your at it,punk.

I never said that I was a christian but I would pick a Christian over the likes of you any time and just so you know I can change my name on here as many times as I want to and if you don't like it well that is just too damn bad so suck it up and grow up or you can go crying and complaining about me to Yahoo like the punk that you are because I really don't care what you do.

I have no faith to be diminished or enhanced.

Believers in god have been waiting for him to make just such an appearance for thousands of years. He's never done so. There's no evidence of any kind to indicate he ever will, since the overwhelming evidence shows that "he" doesn't exist.

So don't hold your breath waiting for him to show up :)

There is no way that being could prove without a doubt that it is god. It would not matter because what I believe in everyone else believes in as well. Love, peace and kindness is the true god, and everyone has experienced that at one point or another.

What are you trying to do? Set off a nuclear bomb?

Nothing can take me away from my Gods Saving Grace. God loves me. So, if someone killed me. I would just go to heaven to be with the Lord.

I do pray the Lord warn us of an impending attack though.

If a killer repented to God, confessing Jesus Christ Lord & Savior, believing in his/her heart Jesus shed His Own Blood for the remission of his/her sin and He raised from the dead for his/her justification; He/Her will be saved (receive eternal life, born again). The old man dies, and the new man in Christ alive forever more.

It would be the same for some, others would get faith, and some would reject him just like the first time jesus came to earth.

well,we will not have at that time the freedom to worship him, our faith and prayer will be impulsury because we will see his power clearly, same as the fact that has no doubt in it : the sun shines in the east and sets in the west...
those who beleive in god without seeing him will be more confedent in their faith and they will obey him more than before...and those who do not beleive in him will beleive that he is true....in that case we will obey his rules by power not by faith and by our own choice...
bearing in the mind that who created all the creatures and this astonishing universe is one powerful unique god!

Jesus was not accepted by all. No prophet is welcomed in his own land. Why would this sighting be any different?
