Would the poor astronauts be left behind, wondering where everybody went?

And what if we eventually build colonies and/or space stations? God never mentioned outer space in the bible?

Man, good point. I'm not sure why, but I find the idea funny.

We will probably not be around long enough for us to build space colonies. God will know what will happen if there are space colonies, hes not stupid. It's not like he'll be like, "Woah, I never expected those, I guess I'll just forget about them and let them live lives in space."

Those who are "in Christ" will be "raptured" or taken to be "with Christ" when He returns.

From wherever they are at that time.

Perhaps God did not specifically mention "outer space" nor "space stations" in that regard; but He certainly did not rule it out either.

And have you not read where He does, in His Word, mention about outer space, 'outer darkness', etc.?

I think that God is smart enough to figure all of that out, including any man-made loop-holes.
