what do you say when the guide told you some of the formations took millions or hundreds of millions of years to form?
Do you tell him he was full of it right then and there?

I just roll my eyes and try to set him/her straight. If they told it differently , they'd lose their job. That also goes with teachers forced to teach the lies of evolution.

I went to Mammoth Cave. I waited for my Dad's group. We were in an ice tunnel.
As my Mom"s group walked off it got darker, and Darker! And I was in Total
DARKNESS! Spooky! Finally I saw a light, and here came my Dad's group.
Really freaked me out! I thought I was mistaken and noone was coming!

I usually just smile to myself and give a little chuckle. They set up a staglagtite experiment ans within a hundred years. it was as big as most of the ones we find in caves. You do the math
