The UNICEF ads have made me wonder how others respond to these ads and this topic. What does your spirituality lead you to feel regarding starving, poor, needy children? I think simple human compassion qualifies as "spirituality".

What action do you take and why? Spiritual or not.

I help when I am in a position to see what will actually benefit a real child.

To much of this fund raising is just fund raising.

I see the situations that people find them selves in as the perfect situation that they require for their spiritual growth.

Often it is not pretty. It can be quite distressing to hear about.

Still God allowed these children to be in these situations because valuable spiritual understanding could be gleaned from them.

I do not see myself as being smart enough to correct what God has seen fit to allow.

I may not like it, I may not understand it But I do not question Gods wisdom.

I have come to see it all as being perfect, exactly as God has laid it out.

Love and blessings Don

The bible says it is not enough just to pray for them. We must also feed, clothe and shelter them. These are basic human rights, not privileges.
