agree that the same thing can and should be done for humans? Why should the unwilling suffer and limp towards death, if we know it is inevitable?

I have never been to a buddhist temple before, but I am considering going on Sunday. It is called Vajradakini Buddhist Center for meditation and the website said it's free and beginers welcome. Do you have any advice?

My closest friend is attending the mormon church and the missionaries goes to her house to teach her about the Book of Mormon and the bible, etc... she hasn't baptized yet but she's planning to do it soon. The problem is that a new missionary came a few months ago and she's falling in love with him. He doesn't know it and she doesn't pretend to tell him because she's extremly shy. She tries (and will always try) to keep ot secret and she wonders if it was wrong to fall in love with him. What can she do? I know (and she knows) that the missionaries are not allowed to have a relationship while they are in their mission, they can't even flirt or something like that, but she really wants him. I really want to help my friend.

I'm sure this questions has been asked plenty of times but:

If you believe there is nothing after this life why do you seem to care so much how Christians, Muslims and whatever other God believing people do
the only answer I can come up with is that you like to feel superior over those silly religious people

For all you spiritual people, how do you get closer to God and spiritual advance yourself into a better person or more God like just like Jesus without the pressures of other christians telling you that you are not a real christian because you do not believe in a God of wrath but a Godof love. I believe in a God of love and that we should be making decisions like jesus and life is a learning experience. But how do you go about being yourself without other christians throwing into your face that everything you believe is wrong or your going to burn in hell for eternity which i do not believe. THat message just gets in the way of my faith in GOd and my spiritual path. What do you do when people are critizing your belief ?

Keep it serious please. ;-)

I'm a student of the bible and I would like the opinions of others in this forum so I can check it out. I don't care what your background is, I would really like to know what questions you have about the christian doctrine that you find silly.

I'm looking for good questions and not statements like its all crap - while it is your belief, it is not mine. The basic assumption for me is the bible is true.

Well, rock on!

Please, I am not trying to be offencive. But i was wondering why some people try to claim that dinosaurs never excisted and/or they are a goverment conspericy, when there is more PHYSICAL evidence that they did excist that there is that Jesus excisted?
Jesus has the bible, while we have countless dinosaur remains including bones, foot prints and dung (yes actuall fosilised dino dung. don't ask me how it was fosilised or whatever).

Can you accept the fact that evolution is a retrograde process?

It is apparent that modern intelligence is no match for some of your own ancestors and that evolution is retrograde. Could we contend that the only thing advancing is the human ego?

Your evolution teaches that discrimination (natural selection) is the central means of life and change. At the same time many, if not all of you, preach that discrimination (which is the perfect synonym for natural selection) is morally wrong and a violation of human rights. Should people who hold such a mismatched, and socially damaging, thought pattern be considered intelligent?
