Imam is a man educated in Islam and a leader for the mosque. He can be of any race or nationality, as those have no importance in Islam. So he can be Caucasian, Asian, African, Arab, Persian, Hispanic, you name it.

A Nabi in Arabic is a prophet...
An Imam is a Muslim scholar...greatly educated in the matters of Islam and Shariya law..
