Due to a disagreement between myself and my parents, my mother no longer speaks to me. She told me to stop calling and to move on with my life on my own. I know that the Bible states that we should love and honor our parents. I do, but they are the ones that have chosen to cut me out. Will I still be accepted into Heaven, even though we no longer talk? If I move away and lose touch with them forever, will God deny me acceptance into Heaven?

[I am a devout Christian, but am sitll learning the ways of the Lord.]

...why has God allowed animals to kill and eat other animals. It has happened since the beginning of time. It is disheartening to watch documentaries (I know, I know, I can turn the tv off) lions and tigers killing and tearing apart their prey. Actually it makes no sense really. I'd like to learn a good reason for this.

Why do they feel so threatened by the beliefs of others just because they are different then their own beliefs? Why would they/you get so stirred up about something they don't believe in?

Caffeine is the most popular legal mind altering drug.

Are Christians allowed to use mind altering drugs ever or only when they are legal?

And yes, grasshopper, caffeine and nicotine are drugs, drugs which your body even goes into withdrawal over if you are addicted.

this is going to be long so bear with me.i am 17 and engaged and I live in a group home.me and my fiancee had snuck and had sex.we felt like (at the time) that we are not doing anything wrong (I even took his virginity). well it started getting deeper cause I started sneaking him over to the group home.they found out and I lied about it for a little while then told the truth.i was told i couldnt have contact with him for awhile.they cut me totally off but I always found ways to talk to him.I always got caught.the place I live at told me I need to find somone who respects me more than he does (they feel that he doesnt respect me because he allowed me to do thing to him in front of other people).i lost my faith in God but my fiancee talked me back into my senses.i prayed harder than i ever have and used scripture.i asked for forgiveness.i have a meeting with my socail worker and the home2morrow and they want him to be there (we were caught emailing). i want to be with him. what do you th

The following premises are often brought up by Christians.

1) Heaven is better than earth
2) There is no evil in Heaven
3) Evil needs to be allowed in order for free will to exist
4) Free will is such a high good that god allows evil to exist on earth in order to obtain it

The conclusion is that since there is no evil in Heaven, there is no free will in Heaven.

So, the best possible world is one with NO FREE WILL but no evil(Heaven). If this is the best possible world, then the lack of evil most be more important than free will. If that is the case, why does he allow evil on earth to obtain free will when the best world has no free will? If it's merely to educate people, then why not simply infuse their brain with the knowledge and avoid the pain?
