I have no religion, but I think most Christians would either confront him on this theories, try to preach to him or walk out, unable to deal with a confrontation to their beliefs.

It's funny... another question on here is from a girl who feels residual guilt after turning from Christianity to paganism and believers are all saying her feeling guilt must be because she knows she's wrong or God is trying to talk to her.

Why don't they also see that their discomfort about being around Richard Dawkins and his beliefs must mean that they doubt their own beliefs and maybe, just maybe, Mr. Dawkins is right? Nope, never crossed their minds to think like it that way.

And Richard Dawkins and a gun and Richard Dawson and a gun and Family Fued but it has Al from Home Improvement now but he's dead because someone shot him with a gun instead of Richard Dawkins and atheism and I have no one else to play with and if I can't get the Christians to like me I might as well ask them questions about Richard Dawkins and a gun and Janie's Got A Gun according to Aerosmith.

So why do christians come on good right here with all their intolerance, hatred, bigotry and persecution in the direction of others and photograph it quite is appropriate on the comparable time as all Dawkins mentioned replaced into you're able to desire to envision a e book?! Why so blind to what motives the backlash unfavourable to christianity? each and every of the a number of religions and atheists stay in peace and are in person-friendly words attacked via undesirable christians which motives all stable christians to melancholy on the wear and tear and tear they do! Up till at last approximately 40 years decrease lower back Christianity replaced into thriving and there replaced into no conflict with others yet in only those few short years the nicely-enjoyed christians have become illiberal, hate filled, bigoted and persecuting ensuing in a transforming into backlash unfavourable to christianity and inflicting christianity to loose over ten % in below a decade with the loss accelerating! The self destruction of Christianity is underway and the in person-friendly words element that should end it quite is to desolate tract the undesirable human ideas, seek for to rediscover the belief of a loving god and act like it!

Hopefully the right thing and laugh at him and walk out. His prejudice, presumptions, ignorance and pride are pathetic. His writing is terrible too! If I have a gun then I am going to the range or hunting so no point in arguing with a closed mind. Only those that are truly seeking wisdom have an open mind and his is closed.

Here is the summary of what he said in Wired magazine:
1) says that Mary rose into heaven without dying..... ??? and doesn't believe any other myth
2)Wants to help exorcise the debilitating curse of Faith
3) Says that parents should not have the right "to bring up children believing in manifest falsehoods." "Bad ideas foisted on children are moral wrongs and we should think harder how to stop them" * sounds like Nazi Germany to me.
4) Sensible religious people are on on the "side of supernaturalism and that puts me on the other side. *IF you aren't for atheism you are against him
5) "The problem is religion in general."
6) "Highly intelligent people are mostly atheists"

Like I said no empathy for others feelings, no concern for others, pride and arrogance and ignorance up to his eyeballs ... No love at all just arrogance and pride and self importance.... what a pathetic individual.

But if you look at what other atheists are saying about him then the old atheist spokesman, that had debated C.S. Lewis, Antony Flew recently said that he had not presented a remotely workable method of changing mater to life and even went on and said that the latest biological research "has shown, by the almost unbelievable complexity of the arrangements which are needed to produce (life), that intelligence must have been involved."

I think I will listen to the man that actually got a Nobel prize for his work.
"The principle of [divine] purpose ... stares the biologist in the face wherever he looks ... . The probability for such an event as the origin of DNA molecules to have occurred by sheer chance is just too small to be seriously considered ... ."Ernst Boris Chain - Nobel Prize in medicine

If you think he is worth looking up to then maybe you should read this book.

Why would I have a gun? If I were alone with Richard Dawkins, I would try to talk some sense into him. If he wasn't receptive, I'd ask if he wanted to watch the Firefly marathon.

I would hide the gun and try to witness to Dawkins.

I suppose I'd ask him if he wanted to try shooting at some targets with me? What's with the gun?

Any one of them can confront Richard Dawkins simply by reading one of his books, but they don't. I wonder why. That faith should be strong enough to withstand any challenge.

What is worse...to rape a child's body or....?

to rape a child's mind?

Isn't the force-feeding of any religion a kind of RAPE? Kids are not given a chance to 'consent' to have a relationship with a deity or a priesthood, so why are parents allowed, even encouraged and applauded, to choose a kid's religion or way of thinking?

Should parents who literally inject religion in kid's minds without their full consent, be prosecuted as "child molesters"??

Were you given a chance to choose not to believe in any religion or god? Were you ever forced to go to a religious facility WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT?
