Gazoo, thanks for the link. It also states:

Hovind is in jail because he refused to file for an exemption, get a license, to conduct his ministry, but demanded his God-ordained right to minister without taxation as guaranteed by the First Amendment.

Is it a conflict of interest that David Gibbs makes his own living advising churches on tax matters ? If Hovind won this case, and the first amendment stood ... how much income do you suppose ole David Gibbs would stand to lose ?

Dr. Horton gave the court the zinger. She said, "The Bible doesn't exempt anyone from paying taxes."

Then why is she the Senior Vice-President, and her husband the President, of a tax-exempt organization known as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that is exempt from federal income taxes? This also means that gifts to Pensacola Christian College are deductible from the donors' taxable income.

Hovind rendered unto God what is Gods and refused to bow the knee and grant the IRS god rule over his tongue.

Interesting how Hovind was not accused for "telling lies" or "fradulent teaching", but for his stance on taxes. Anyone of us could be audited by the IRS if we called enough attention to ourselves. Ask yourself honestly, would you pass that audit?

Yep, like it or not: Ph.D. in Education.

rlrose63 - OK, I give you credit for at least watching some of it. More than can be said for the other "open-minded" atheists.

Okay, I watched a good portion of two different videos and I feel sick to my stomach. Not so much from the garbage that man is spewing... misinformed, not at all factual nonsense... but from the fact that there is a huge audience in front of him agreeing with every word he says.

I went to a Rush Limbaugh "concert" when I was about 25. I had the same feeling then... Rush spewing his conservative hatred and an entire audience of mostly redneck idiots, pumping their fists in the air, hooting their agreement.

I love how he twists facts... scientifically proven facts... to match what is in the bible as proof. Amazing. And the dinosaurs on the ark stuff. Wow.

This man was a science teacher?? Thank goodness that is "was" and not "is" and thank goodness he's been locked away for cheating the government because at least he's not able to brainwash the masses, just the criminals.

Yes, "Dr. Dino" is rife with faulty logic and wild conclusions. His Ph.D. isn't even in anything related to any of the life sciences, it is in christian education from an unaccredited university. He knows nothing about evolutionary science, and it shows whenever he opens his mouth. He also looks like the creepy old minister from Poltergeist II.

I am very open to new scientific data, and if any existed anywhere on drdino.com, I would give it serious consideration. Unfortunately, there is none to be found. Kent Hovind is not a scientist, he is an apologetic. His online ministry is just that and the term "creation science" is an oxymoron. I feel sorry for the people who believe that what he does is in any way scientific.

If anyone is interested, there is a rather in depth entry about him on Wikipedia.

You are going to have to do a whole lot better than that if you want anyone to take you seriously. By the way Kent Hovind is a fraud. If you really believe any of this garbage, then you are seriously lacking some brain power. I suggest getting your education from an accredited university.

I myself am far too self-righteous to watch your silly videos. I'm self-righteous and hypocritical, and furthermore I don't like your attitude. So there.

However, I did read one time that rudimentary hind limbs appear briefly in the embryos of whales and dolphins, and I asked God: Why do whale and dolphin embryos need hind limbs? God replied and said "None of your business." Not long after that I began to wonder if there even is a God. I suppose your silly videos will clear all that up.

LOL!!! A Dr. Dino link?

You DO realize that he's a hack, right? He's in prison right now because of tax evasion.

"Dr." Dino, a.k.a. Kent Hovind, received his degree from a reputable university... a diploma mill.
He got a doctorate just so he could have the title... he's anything but a scientist.

Anyone who trusts what Hovind says is being SERIOUSLY duped.

Show me one remotely scientific article in any peer reviewed journal that does anything other than ridicule this so-called doctor.
