God speaks to me many different ways. Through the Pastor or through others. Confirmation in my spirit.
Usually God speaks because I have prayed to God and asked God something. Once I prayed for Israel, and God gave me a vision of Her. That if she repent for not believing in Christ, God will restore Her Land. It was much more than that and I prayed it with others in Sat. morning prayer.
I have heard the voice of the Father God & had a vision of a strong arm and brightness. That Father God is too strong and bright for us to look upon.
I have heard the voice of the LORD Jesus Christ, and hear His voice regularily. He has also introduced me to a few of His True Prophets. John the beloved disciple (to read John, 1-3 John & Revelation confirming that John wrote those books inspired by the Lord / vision / personal witness). Lindon B. Johnson, Thomas Jefferson (church & state). Matthew (once to pray for the persecuted church today.). I have seen faint visions of Jesus and have been given dreams, visions, etc. And disciplined.
I have heard the voice of the Holy Spirit, who is a quiet inner voice. The Holy Spirit has disciplined me also. Confirms the truth of the identy of the Father, Lord Jesus or the Prophets. The Father also confirms the truth. And has also warned of discipline.
The most difficult for me to comprehend or accept is when a prophet alive and well visits me in vision and voice and aswers my prayers regarding certain prayers. That scares me and I really have inner doubts. But then I get in trouble for doubting God.
The Lord will tell me to purchase a book, etc. and I will get answers. The Lord made me read also a book by http://joelolsteen.com "your best life now". After I read it I am thankful. I read the books of John with Prophet John. Also, the Lord had me read the book of Ephesians a few times.
I would love it if I hear of someone else having these experiences. I have depended on the Holy Spirit to lead me into all truth, so I have to believe.

Nope, I wished he would for years then finally realized He just didn't care enough to.
I had a plethora of people willing to step up and tell me that they had messages from God for me. But for some reason he chose not to talk to me directly. The worst part is initially when I was a new Christian, I listened to many preachers, elders, and fellow church goers who had messages for me. In the end many of them caused me great pain and some cost me money. One preacher told me that God had told him I was to marry someone. I didn't like the Girl but tried to make it work for a year. In the end we parted ways in an ugly split. Guess that one was just a funny joke, God played on me, for the rest of the angels to snicker at?
The problem with this whole personal relationship thing, isn't when you hear from God, its when you don't. Everyone will have great advice, read the bible, talk to your pastor, etc... but in the end if you don't hear from him, then you are suseptable to people who tell you that they do. You want to do his will so bad that you end up following bad characters. That, in my opinion is God's fault.
The people who committed suicide in the Jones Town Massacre did it because they thought it was God's will. They thought is was God's because they listened to Jones who told them it was. The ugly truth is that it actually was God's will. If God didn't want those people to be deceived and die, he could have intervened. But he chose not too. I guess that was just to prove a point right.
Nice

He spoke to me once in an audible voice. I heard Him say "get out of the car" I turned around to see if someone was in the car with me. I thought I was crazy since no one was there. I heard Him again and I got out of the car and went over to where my sister was talking to her cousin-in-law. We went into his house for a while. Years later through someone else God revealed to me that there had been some kids with a gun driving by and if I'd still been sitting in the car, I would have startled them and they would have shot me.

I would say it is possible. It states the holy ghost will communicate with each person in different means so they can understand. For me when I was seeking further understanding, it can under deep meditation and dreams.

Only on Sundays. He speaks to me in color and vibrations. It is the most beautiful thing anyone could ever ask for, and I feel at peace with the world and myself. Praise God.

No, and it is impossible. The only way that God can communicate with us is through the Bible.
