There's not one person on this earth who doesn't self-righteously and hypocritically condemn some other belief. They may not even do it outloud or on a website such as this, but they do. Huge numbers of Christians say Catholics are wrong, Catholics feel free to condemn Mormons, Mormons and everyone else condemn Scientologists and, well, Scientologists think everyone else is wrong.
Atheists condemn god-believers and god-believers condemn atheists. Pagans are condemned by everyone but atheists.
So... apparently, no one has a clue. In that respect, we are all the same. :-)

nope that's the point we are trying to find a few clues to understand why we are in such a paradox and how to go about claiming that hypocrisy and self righteousness is not OK in our opinion but if you want to do that go ahead it is your right to be obnoxious.
oops look I did it again - at least I'm trying its really hard not to get all annoyed you should try it some time its really difficult(especially with a personality like mine). Its almost impossible to achieve balance because we are human but at least someone is trying! At least I'm not saying agree with me or I'll come round and beat up your mum you **** **** **** - surely its got to be better than that?

I think that they do have a clue, and are condemning their own way of life without a clue how to fix the problem. These people, myself included, should treat this kind of like alcoholism. Once you admit that you have a problem, you then have to identify when you are actually doing the said problem behavior, then and only then can you change that behavior. No one else can change this for us we have to fix ourselves. I think that the best way to do this is put ourselves in the other persons shoes. Good Luck All...........Love Wins...........

It so happens that I am self-righteous and hypocritical AND I have a clue. I am living proof that it is possible to be self-righteous and hypocritical and also have a clue; as a matter of fact I have several clues.
So what's your point?

Some people need to learn to be objective, and learn why people do and say what they do, Bria for one learned to look outside herself in order to look within. Its sounds strange, because very few accomplish it. What Bria once was is not what she is now, but Bria cannot deny that past self, is still a part of self, albiet a part that she does not like. Bria for one a former christian, still trying to make sense of why the bible belt is the way it is and why people cant learn to look at the demon within and excorcize it by themselves.
