There is a trend on yahoo answers in the religion section of questions like "Atheists why are you here" or "Why do you feel the need to bash Christians".

My question is in a few parts,

1. Do you think Atheists are decent people, or just all immorral trash?

2. If I ask a question about Christianity, is this an attack on Christians because it is coming from a non-Christian, even thou someone who is a Christian could have asked the same question?

3. Is there a difference between asking a question about Christianity, and making an attack on a Christian or Christians in general?

4. When you say that we non-Christians are bashing you, what specifically does that mean, what is an example of "bashing".

5. Do you find yourself asking the question, "If man came from monkeys, why are there still monkeys" or "Why don't we see monkeys/apes evolving today". Curious, do you ever ask that and then read Evolutionist's answers?

I asked a question earlier about why God would allow predators to kill and eat their prey. I received 77 answers! All of them were eye-opening, a few made a joke of the question, many gave serious well thought out answers. Some tried to insult me. However, it was a serious question and I appreciate the answers. Some of you bought up the term "Nature" ..and here is perhaps another foolish question. But people usually speak of :nature" or "mother nature" when they are describing the results of a violent storm, a tornado, a hurricane, a typhoon, tsunamis, etc.
So which is it, these deadly forces --- of "Mother Nature"? or of God? And please -- . this is a serious question - if you cannot answer without insulting me, then please don't, all right? Thank you all.

Think about it, if God only wanted you to rely on faith then this makes sense.

If we had tangible proof then faith would be worthless.

If God didn't care about faith He would probably give us scientific proof.

Well I'll tell you..He does exsist and did create all things. Truth is he always existed,our minds just cant except that something always was because we're used to things having a beggining. this flesh is of a sin nature, hence we are going to leave this body in the future through death. Therefore doesn't it stand to reason that sickness and death are caused by sin and the advisary rather than blaming God for it?

There are so many people today that hate God and religion. What have been some factors in you deciding that:

a. God doesn't exisit
b. religion and God is a figment of imagination and bs
c. God is responsible for misery

I think people hate God and religion because it poses a threat to them and sets guidelines i.e. tells them what not to do. People like to do what they want to do.

He could simply jump right to the final situation if he wants. Some say the intermediates are there in order to teach people, or show them a lesson. The problem is that he could have simply made everyone aware of those things instinctually and then all of the pain could be avoided. And yes he could still do this while maintaining free will - he's omnipotent right?
