I don't think that the Bible says anything about ages like that. However, King David, in mourning the loss of his son, said that he couldn't bring him back to life, but that he would go to him (when he died), so he could yet be a child when David died, maybe? Not an idea to worry about because God will see to it that all people in Heaven will be happy anyway.

First off, it's pretty sick that you are asking questions about dying kids... That's just not cool...

But, on the subject of the question, if your child dies today, and you die in 20 years, you won't see your child, on account of the lack of an afterlife.

I think that when we die we are once again a mature soul. Therefore, our soul can CHOOSE at what age it would like to appear before another soul. Kind of like a hologram if you will. You will recognize your daughter because of her inner soul, not the physical appearance, though she may allow herself to appear as 4 years old to help you along at first. :)

Age is a function of seeing your self as a physical body suspended in time.

Neither age nor time have a function in spirit.

You would probably meet her as someone else. Having turned 24, may be she would give birth to a new baby which would be you. Or may be she would become your aunt.

I believe we will not see them, so to speak. We will be able to identify them by their souls, not by how they look.

When we die only our souls will remain, therefore we will see each other as souls, we will recognize each other as souls.
