I don't think there is any law which can stop you from painting or designing your own door, assuming you live in a democratic country. After all it is your own property, you can do whatever you like with it. Only it should not be obscene, and it should not hurt the sentiment of any group or society.
I am curious to know what sort of optical illusion you are planning to draw on your door to "fool the religious visitors". I may need it for my own door.
