Where is your quiet place? Where do you find your quiet time with the Lord? Mine is wherever I am, where it is quiet. In my room, at the park, in my car, ect. So where is yours?

You are right the quiet spot is where ever we are, because Heaven is in our soul. However, to escape the noise of life, I like to sit in my nice comfy chair in my bedroom. I can see the lake and in the summer feel the breeze from the lake. It is where I do my Bible study with Dr. J. Vernon McGee, a radio pastor. Great Bible teacher, at www.ttb.org

My quiet place is in two locations. Of course you can pray and have a quiet place just about anywhere where you won't be bothered.

My quiet place is when I kneel by the bed and when I read the Word and pray.

God Bless You :)

Well i have an office that is where I spend the majoirty of my "quiet time." However, I do occasionally go to a nearby park and walk the trails, find a place to sit, meditate, pray, and read scriptures there.

In my home.. but I'm like you.. I have several places. A ride to the mountain side, down near the water's edge where it rushes and brushes upon the sandy shores. Driving down the lonesome highway with just the scenic view in site... many places for my quiet time with my heavenly Father.

My quiet place...ahhh I get all romantic thinking about it...
Not because I am with any other person, but because I can have that intimate communion with our God.

My favorite place would have to be in the mountains. I would have to take a quote from those 3 mountain climbers who were lost in Washington i believe a couple of months ago. One of them was the son of a boss of one of our sisters at church. And he said he loved to go into the mountains because "he wanted to be closer to God."

Now of course I know that God is in us and with us everywhere, but there just something special about being up in the mountains, to me, that captivates my heart and spirit. Seeing from the heights of the mountains down unto creation is something that just leaves me in awe. It makes me want to shout at the top of my lungs how great he is how merciful and wonderful!! But the quiet time I have is at sunrise...

As I watch the hand of God raise the sun over the mountain tops...
I quiet myself, and wait for God to whisper to my soul...

Generally, I go to a section of the house that I can be least disturbed and not distracted.

I heard one guy uses his bathroom because it's the only place that he can find time where no one will disturb him.

I have a small prayer chapel in my office.

I like to go into churches when I'm out and about - whether or not a Mass is being celebrated - I just like to sit there.
