I learned long ago that the things of this world are not the answer to true happiness and contentedness. I chose a different path. Although I have worked most of my life (my first job was at age 14, and I'm now 51), working is just a means to support myself and my family. My priorities in life are, in order, God, my husband, children, grandchildren, friends, others, myself, my country, my obligations and duties. I have a joyful life. I am happy with the car I have - it's not the most expensive, but it's clean and it goes from point a to point b, it's dependable. I am happy with my living arrangements, I have a small condo (we had a larger house when my kids were younger and lived at home), it's clean and provides me with shelter and a place to call my own. I am happy in my job - I gave up the corporate job that paid more and now have more time at home with my husband.

I love God and my family, I am truly blessed. I have shelter, clothing, food. I have the love of a great man and two well adjusted kids, a wonderful son in law, and two precious grandsons. I have a cute little dog named Pumbaa. I really can't say I want anything more in life (although I do like to travel and we save up and go when we can).

no longer likely. i think of no person in the be conscious is happy. Happiness comes from success, love, friendship and automated. some situations there grew to become into no reason yet i've got self belief so happy. and a while there grew to become into no reason yet we are feeling unhappiness. Moon is the reason in the back of this (astrology). sturdy cinema, seeing my female buddy, having success in my artwork makes me happy in my existence. you may't locate the happiness, that's a feeling that create in the middle. to help others (terrific way) and doing sturdy subject which you want to do will make you happy. that's an outstanding feeling to assisting somebody and cry for the others unhappiness...

Dear Digilook,

Knowing and having Jesus Christ as my LORD and Savior makes me a contented, JOYfilled, useful person.

Happiness is only dependent on momentary circumstances and is fleeting. JOY is dependent on a relationship with the Author of life and it IS no matter what the circumstances.

Spending time with my 14 month old grandson is the icing on the cake! Thanks for asking.

I like being a role-model for kids when I can be. I love teaching and guiding children any opportunity I can get. Kinda strange even to me because my parents were pretty much non-existent. Children have so much energy and are yet to be jaded by society.

Having Jesus in my life.. without Him I would be walking dead, with Him I'm alive. I'm on the journey's leg through this world passing through it on my way to life everlasting.. but not living in the world where worldly things must I possess. If I had nothng of this world, I'm not missing anything... my life's treasures are being stowed in heaven, where moth and rust can't touch them.
