Easter is in April 8th.

Lent is 40 days - not counting the Sundays.

Rose (or, Laetare) Sunday is 3/18 this year

Passion Sunday (Lent V) is on the 25th

Palm Sunday (the beginning of Holy Week) is on April 1

Maundy Thursday is 4/5

Good Friday is 4/6

Holy Saturday and the Great Vigil is on 4/7

Easter falls on Sunday, April 8th

Lent begins on 21 February 2007 (Ash Wednesday - the day after Marde Gras' Fat Tuesday) and ends on 7 April 2007, which is the day before Easter.

Sundays during this period of time are not included in Lent.

Lent starts on ash Wednesday and lasts 40 days ,till Easter Sunday.
Incidently to figure out when Easter is ,it's the first sunday after the first full moon after the first day of spring. Now you count back 40 days and that wed, is Ash wed.

Lent begins on Suday the 25th of Feb, and runs for 5 weeks untill Good Friday which is on April 6th,and Easter Sunday is on April 8th.

Lent begins on Ash Wednesday, this year on my birthday, February 21. It ends on the Saturday before Easter, this year on April 7, I think???

Well, it's never on the same day, one year after another. it always starts on Ash Wednesday, and continues for 40 days and nights. But if you count on the calander, you'll see it's more than 40 days, and that's because it has to go until the next Sunday whcih will be Easter. And the time Ash Wednesday is determined is all down to the lunar paterns. That's why it's always different.
