Realize that things shouldn't make you happy.

I pray that the pain and sadness will stop and the loneliness will not be so intense. I know God has something better for me but it still doesn't take away the heartache and I know he feels my suffering but he also wants me to grow and sometimes I question that myself but hey he knows that I will question it. Hopefully you'll be blessed with a better spiritual outlook on why it was taken away but then you probably already know the answer just like me but it doesn't make it easier does it? My heart can relate to yours. In the end, maybe we will see the results of our obedience??? Love ya in Christ -

You need to determine why "things" made you happy. Sometimes things are used as a diversion from the real problems that we face. Then when they are gone we are left with reality. Face your problems and eventually you will be happy with or without "things."

things should not make you happy... the joy of the Lord is your strength... you are putting your joy in the wrong thing... Jesus should be your joy... seek ye first the kingdom of God....
