So God's jail doesn't abide by 'cruel and unusual punishment' like America? Wow, Even America's founding fathers had a sense of decency!
So where is this spiritual realm, is it in the middle of our tiny dust mite like speck of a planet like the dark age religious nutters claimed?
Is it outside the universe? Will God peak in every now and then through the duration of 'eternity' to see how the souls are going about roasting?

I dont like to think of god as a being or idol, but as the beliefs of life, truth, freedom, beauty, and love. I also believe in freedom, and even if I dont agree with someone, theyre free to believe whatever they want. And I dont like fighting unless it's for freedom, and someone has denied me right, or it's for rights. ( But I dont like having the freedom to do whatever when it comes to killing, abuses, stealing, and things like that that effect your rights as a being.) Im a bohemian and kind of carefree like a hippie.

Would you be willing to accept the same punishment if YOUR beliefs turned out to be wrong, or would you cry foul? Suppose you died and discovered that the true God was Zeus (for example); would you object if he told you that you must spend eternity in Hades for not believing in him or worshiping him while you were alive? - I'm willing to bet you'd be saying "But it's not FAIR - how did I know you were REAL?", etc, etc... So why is it somehow "fair" when it's someone other than YOU who's receiving such a judgement, hmm...?

Many people on this forum tell me I will go to hell because I question the existence of God. This is creepy. Not because I'm afraid of hell, but because I'm afraid of the people who believe people deserve to go to hell for trying to understand the world around them and reaching their own conclusions. You freak me out. You freak me out even more when you say people like Ghandi are in hell.

My question is why do we deserve this in your minds. "Because God said so" is an invalid argument from my perspective even if he did exist. Might, even infinite might, cannot make right. Evangelicals, I ask you to explain your logic.

If you cannot, I must assume that the level of hate I see is purely a product of your hate for those who are not like you. So, do I deserve to go to hell for asking hard questions, and if so, why?

It seems to be all about the Devil who God lets run amok on earth, who God knows has the upper hand with his little pets, and it's all about 'winning' their affections?

yikes.

Or are we all really just a bunch of Agnostics?
I mean, no one can say for sure that there is or is not a God. Those who believe have faith, those who don't do not have faith.

If good evidence please.
If evil evidence please.

Do any religions logically explain either?

Personally, I believe people are generally evil. History shows an increasing tendancy toward violence not less and humans have never invented a weapon that was not used.

Is God a man or a woman?

I have never heard such an unnecessary argument in my life.

We call God: He because English doesnt have a neutral gender pronoun, like some other language for example: Turkish.

the neutral pronoun is called 'O' and is really used for anyone other than yourself.

Do you think you would be able to comprehend God better if you discovered other cultures?

The most motivating or moving verse?

if you say through knowledge and acceptance of Jesus then that means that people living in African tribes, sheltered people in police states, babies, mentally handicapped all go to hell.

if you say those people will have a different judgement then that means that it is not nessasary to be a Christian to be saved.

if knowledge saves you then you have to come to 2 conclusions. God is cruel or everyone has the oportunity to to learn the knowledge.

so i want to to know (from all religions) how do i get saved?
