John 15:10 If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love. (11) These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full. (12) "This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. (13) Greater love has no one than this, that someone lays down his life for his friends. (14) You are my friends if you do what I command you.

I had a dream about a year ago that my father went missing and my friends decided to help me get him back. At the end of the dream I found this glowing stone that looked sort of like a cylinder with a hole in it. We took it as a first piece of the puzzle to get him back. Two months ago I found another stone. It was exactly the same except we found it somewhere else. From what I gather, there is one more stone. When will I find it? What does it mean?

Do we really walk/live on clouds? Or is it just like earth, but with nice people?

And do we go to heaven the same age we die? Like if i die at age 87, would i be 87 years old in heaven? If so then i wanna die young so i can spend time in heaven like a kid.

To go to Hell alone? Does this thought frighten you?
Well luckily for you, you won't be alone. The majority
will go to Hell and the minority will go to Heaven. So
in this case do you want to be the majority or the minority?
You'll all be holding hands crying in extreme pain with each
other...how sweet. Of course you could change all that...

What is the possible reason that some of the religion keep 'promoting' their own religion on this Q n A forum? Can't they leave us alone for our own spiritual growth? Aren't they come into the wrong place?

Atheism IS a belief. Don't attack me, now, atheists - I'm on your side and spend a lot of time here defending you.

We do not "know" whether there is a god. There is no definitive proof in either direction, and you know full well that lack of evidence doesn't constitute proof.

Since you don't "know," the idea that there is no god is a BELIEF. (Not a religion, though!)

These are some of the main views being offered in religious discourse. Which do you think is most likely to be true? If more than one, explain them together. Note some are not compatible with others, such as (1) and (3). Thanks for your input:

1) Class Struggle View by Karl Marx: Religion was invented to control the masses by elite Class Struggle view, Karl Marx

2) Wish Fulfillment View by Ludwig Feuerbach, Sigmund Freud: Religion is the projection of felt needs upon the universe

3) Evolutionary Development View by Scot Attran, Pascal Boyer: Religion is the product of cognitive predispositions created through natural selection.

4) Irrational Tradition View by Sam Harris and Richard Dawkins: Religion is social-cultural indoctrination maintained through willful ignorance and lack of education in science.

5) Other: please explain.

They don't believe in global warming claiming that Earth has seen climate changes for millions of years so why should we worry about it now?
But yet, they also believe in the story of Creation (or whatever the Adam and Eve fairy tale is called) which determines that Earth has only been around for 6000 years...
What gives?

I imagine Jesus being right there looking at the Evangelist with a perplexed look on his face saying to himself "oh my goodness, what in the world is this crap? these are MY followers?"

They are part pop psych, part bible, part motivational speaking, part anecdote,
Christianity really did evolve into a wierd thing.

I'm praying for those of you who are responding with such skeptism about God. God loves you. Eventually all of us will have our day of judgement. How will God respond to the life you have lived? Even though you persecute me, I forgive you. I pray you will pick up a bible and read Revelations 20:11-15
