Arminianism would say yes, and then reduce that love to an offer when asked about eternal punishment in hell. Calvinism would say it depends on whether you are saved or not. God loves His own, predestined from before the foundations of the world. We don't know who will & won't be saved, but that doesn't mean He loves everyone. And making it a practice to disobey does not indicate that you belong to Him.

I don't keep John's commandments, it's hard enough keeping Gods!
If I followed John and Paul AND GOD, I'd have a serious time in life!

I believe that He loves us, but He hates sin. He hates sin because it hinders our relationship with God. So we should really by all means repent from our sins, and ask forgiveness and to make a practice of obeying His commandments rather than disobeying them.

God will always love you regardless of your sin.
He hates the sin, not the sinner. Do not think that God will not discipline his children. There are always consequences for sin.
Job 5:17 Blessed is the man whom God corrects; so do not despise the discipline of the Almighty.

The bible stated in Proberbs 1:23-30
23 Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.
24 Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;
25 But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof:
26 I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;
27 When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you.
28 Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me:
29 For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD:
30 They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof.

"If you make it a practice not to obey God's commands does He still love you? "
When we "practice" disobedience we clearly are not friends with God. His love is still available to us nonetheless. All we have to do is repent and follow His way humbly.

No, but you'll be more successful in this life. Just ask anyone working at Capitol Hill or Wall Street....or, of course, prison.

Gods have been created by man since the beginning of his time on this earth. God is what you want him to be, but there is no escape from death and you will will have immortality only through your grandchildren. ~
