They refuse to hear the bad news about Hell. They believe the prophecies were to vague and "too easy" to be fulfilled. Like humans beings do, they have made errors about our origins. So what better strategies can we use to convince them Jesus IS real? These people think God lacks compassion because He allows Hell to exist, but they don't understand that God lives by His rules ~ not the humans'.

if you are a Christian and truly believe in God, how can you believe that he's going to be willing to send the 63% majority of non-Christians in the world to hell? If we are built in God's image, doesn't He forgive wrong-doings?

It says not to judge but people judge others,It says to have love for others but people dont.well only those people they wish to love.It says to eat of the fruit bearing tree and seed bearing plant, and some meats ,but people now adays eat mostly junk foods.so much is in the bible to do and not do. and people dont pay it any mind, they do what they want to,thinking well, all I have to do is say that there was a Jesus and I am making it.so why do so many so called Christians do this, my parents did what the bible said to do. my grandparnets did also.so it can be done, why do people want to pick what they want to do from the teachings of Christ?

Is hell like God's torture chamber section of God's home (heaven?)? Or maybe he sections it off into different spiritual realms?
It must be awfully enormous since most of his clay figures for test study he created who ever lived will be there. So if it's say a 90/10 split, 10 percent of all who ever lived happily in heaven,
Does God just sit and watch over that 90% burning in hell for all 'eternity'?

first, an awareness of "self" to percieve, or concieve of such a thing? Lets say that god always was, always will be; that's fine in my book, but i want to know if there is even a need for god if beings are unable to fully comprehend, or be fully aware of such an entity's existence? How well do you know "god" and how can we all come to have the same understanding of an omnipotent force?

Just wondering what truth is in the statement that recently blonde haired blue eyed mormon missionaries were exiled from Venezuela, incognito nonetheless, as they had a bounty on their heads.

Maybe there is some truth in this, I always like to think there may be some truth in statements made by dinner guests but...this is pushing it.

Please if I am wrong to question and the poor little fellas had to flee the country risking life and religion...please set me straight. Any weblinks would be appreciated but, opinions are always welcomed.

What is the soul, what is the spirit? How do we actually know it is there for we, I, do not have any evidence of any spirit world. We feel and we sense but how can I know where is my brain biochemistry and my predetermined mind end and true spirit starts? People talk too much about energy, the aura, PES, quantum phisics and ghost stories yet the answer is not quite clear. For it is there, how can we know?Where it is? For it is there, why, how, what for,? I do want to find The Divine

I'm reffering to Nehustan, the brazen serpent that Moses made when God sent a plague of fiery serpents to punish the Hebrews (what for, I don't recall). Anyone who was bitten by the serpents was healed if he looked at the image of Nehustan...

Believers in God do community work and the likes, so that they are doing "Gods" deeds. Get into heaven etc etc

Whereas non believers do it to better the world, and know that nothing will come of it, but making others happy.

Does that sound about right?

1 Cor 3:11-12 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; 15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

Lot separated from Abraham a wealthy man but went to make money in Sodom and ended up escaping God's fiery judgment only to end up living in a cave.

To put an end to religious strife, all religions The monolithic ones, (IE... Christianity, Islam). The multi god ones, (IE... Hinduism, Paganism). The cultish ones (IE...Moonies, scientology), In fact every last one, Shinto’s, shamanism, Zoroaster’s, and so on. And a choice for no religion at all (IE: - ...Atheism, ethical philosophy). Every person over 16 years old would cast 1 vote for the religion of their choice or not to have a religion at all. If one religion gets more than 50% then it becomes the world religion and all others are banned. It would not be compulsory to be religious, but if anyone chose to take up a religion there would only be one choice (a bit like some Islamic countries). If the majority vote was for Atheism then all religions would be banned. If no overall majority was found, the religions polling the lowest vote would be removed from the list and the electelection rerun until we had a winner.
So what do you think that religion would be?

Why do people think it is o.k. to worship an invisible God, when these people, who clearly have a 'good' heart could dedicate themselves to their community, help the poor and disadvantaged, and in doing so please their God in the process, without finding it necessary to defend the existance of their God to anyone who questions their beliefs!?
