contrary to popular belief you can disprove the existence of a nonexistent being when it's definition is contradicted by the relevent facts of the reality that it does not concur with by omission of impact or effect one can conclude the source did not function as it was deemed it should . when the concept of a god does not display it's predicted outcomes it must be assumed it is broken or non existent . this proof or disproof in this case has been used by mainstay Atheists and published as evidence or disproof within logical and reasonable parameters for some time now.since the definition of gods is they don't break then it must be thought they don't exist . proofs take forever but disproofs only require one instance .as Einstein said:
No amount of experimentation can ever prove me right; a single experiment can prove me wrong.

Just the idea of more than 1 god contradicts itself. It's pretty easy to debunk Zeus. 1st, the Bible says there is 1 God-Jehovah. I know you're saying you can't answer w/ quotes from the Bible. But did "zeus" give us some book (that has no contradictions & is written over 100's of years by 10's of men AND accuratley foretells the future)??? NO. Also, shouldn't God be loving? Not some merciless lighting smiting being?

I think there are many things that point to God but do not nessesarily prove Him. The complexity of our universe is one. There are some proofs offered in the Bible. One has to do with the fact that if Jesus did not rise from the dead the disciples would know. The were skeptical about his rising and his death and ressurection are well documented by several of the disciple in the gospels. Later on they would be killed for preaching this. Many people will die for a lie they think is true but no one will die for something they know is a lie. If Jesus' ressurection was a lie they would know it and yet they chose martydom over his Godhood.

The non-existence of something can only be proven under very strict circumstances e.g. "The zebra you claim to have been inside this small, empty room does not exist."
But for something intangible which apparently exists outside our universe, it's basically impossible to prove the non-existence. All we can do is point out the flaws in the Bible such as the implication that Hell was under the Earth... until we figured out the Earth is not flat and therefore nothing can be 'under' it...

All I can say is that Zeus probably did exist. Although he is considered part of mythology, stories of immortals have been passed down since very ancient days, as a matter of fact since right before the flood when they had to leave thier human bodies and their human wives and hybrid off-spring behind, and return to the spirit realm from which they came...
Genesis 6:1-8: "Now it came about that when men started to grow in numbers on the surface of the ground and daughters were born to them, 2Â then the sons of the [true] God began to notice the daughters of men, that they were good-looking; and they went taking wives for themselves, namely, all whom they chose. 3Â After that Jehovah said: “My spirit shall not act toward man indefinitely in that he is also flesh. Accordingly his days shall amount to a hundred and twenty years.”
4 The Neph′i·lim proved to be in the earth in those days, and also after that, when the sons of the [true] God continued to have relations with the daughters of men and they bore sons to them, they were the mighty ones who were of old, the men of fame.
5Â Consequently Jehovah saw that the badness of man was abundant in the earth and every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only bad all the time. 6Â And Jehovah felt regrets that he had made men in the earth, and he felt hurt at his heart. 7Â So Jehovah said: “I am going to wipe men whom I have created off the surface of the ground, from man to domestic animal, to moving animal and to flying creature of the heavens, because I do regret that I have made them.” 8Â But Noah found favor in the eyes of Jehovah.
Noah and his family would have passed on these stories of the pre-flood conditions and God's punishments of the wicked, to their children and then their children's children, and so on until the stories were very different from the truth, but that is how stories go...no?

Huh? Your question in title contridicts the first statement of Prove the non-existence of God....... nice spelling of eloquent. But yeah there is no way for either.
No way to prove God(s) exist or to disprove them either. You won't know until you die. That should be a comforting thought.

Zeus would have destroyed humanity by now, had he existed.
according to myth, he'd smite someone just for forgetting to say his name during a burnt offering. Imagine what he'd do if we outright said: "Zeus does not exist."
In fact, you can say it yourself right now. if you aren't killed, zeus does not exist.
