if you are a Christian and truly believe in God, how can you believe that he's going to be willing to send the 63% majority of non-Christians in the world to hell? If we are built in God's image, doesn't He forgive wrong-doings?

God is nature and everything in it. Hell does not exist.

Excellent question.

I am a Christian but still struggle with the whole idea of hell, i.e., I don't want anyone to go there! I see mysteries in the creation of the earth at a time when satan was rebelling against God that I think people will only know on judgment day. For now, God wants people to live by faith, not sight.

God is a God of love and justice. In love, He has given His only Son to die for sinners like you and me and now declares to all men everywhere that they should repent of their sins and give their life to Christ or suffer the consequences of eternal torment.

This is very serious stuff. If you can think of the worst thing that could possibly happen to you on this earth - think again! Missing Christ for eternity is far worse. I believe if more teens were told about hell, there would be much less teen suicide.

Not sure I agree with the 63% number - don't trust that statistic. Today just about anything will pass for a definition of what a heaven bound person looks like.

I believe that there can be both a loving God and a hell. Because God is perfect He can have nothing to do with sin and those who have not repented of their sins go to hell. The only way to get to heaven is through Jesus and believing that he paid the penalty for all sin. Because he was sinless he took the sin of the world on his shoulders and bridged the gap between a very sinful, selfish humanity and God.
God forgives wrong doings if you ask him for forgiveness by accepting his Son as your personal Savior and as payment for your sins.
I'm not saying that you have to believe the way I do, and I'm not saying that everyone who claims to be a Christian is going to heaven. You can say you are a Christian but not truly believe in your heart. We all have room for improvement.

Everything we know is polarity - it is how we define our existence. Good vs. Evil, Light vs. Dark, etc.....so how could we define what "hell" is if we don't have something to contrast it against? Will God be willing to allow (not send) people to go to hell? you bet. its called free will, and every human on this planet has it. You can choose to believe in a deity (God, Allah, whoever) or you can choose not to. The degree of forgiveness issued by the deity you worship is subject to cultural standards (and BTW, monotheistic religions are all essentially worshipping the same God - so christianity aside, perhaps more than the remaining 63% you mention will make it to heaven.) And any Christian who tells you you are going to Hell for something you did deserves to go there more than you.

because he is Righteous and just there must be a hell for the unrighteous. But not all "Christians" are righteous and not all pagans aren't. so because he is just he will let those of the world who never had a chance to be exposed to his word in for following the basic laws of right and wrong that everyone can agree on. he forgives wrong doings but the people need to both ask for forgiveness and forgive others in order for God to forgive them.

Yes He forgives if you come and give Him your life so He can preserve it against the day of judgement that is coming upon the face of the whole earth. Jesus said though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea shore only a remanant shall be saved. God is a straight shooter and He don't make any bones about it. What He has said he will do. He will save you or He will destroy you. The choice is yours.
You see we have been given a set of instructions to follow for our own saftey. When you have the instructions you should follow them especially when the situation is complex. Trying to do it yourself will only lead to failure in this without God's word.
We have a love letter shouldn't you read it and study it to learn what you should do? You Know it!!!

God intended to create a perfect being in a perfect world. However an imperfect angle though he was equal to God and fought against God, creating something called sin. This angle, (Lucifer) was cast out of Heaven and will be condemned to the friary pits of Hell in the end of humanity. Those of us who CHOICE to not follow God will default to following Lucifer and will be cast into Hell with him. You ask, if we are built in God's image, doesn't He forgive wrong-doings? yes he does. You must ask for that forgiveness by asking for Christ to come into your life and that you believe he is the Son of man and died or your Sins so that you may be saved. Do that and you will be saved.

God has a plan for all of his children (us). It would take to much space and time to cover it all here. He will give all the opportunity to go to heaven. Some will make it after death. Hell is a temporary place that some have to go to pay for their sins committed here on earth. Then as you have earned you will be given a degree of glory, most degrees are far above the glory of earth happiness that we now know. Only the ones who chose to follow the devil will be forever cast away. However it is seen as a sort of hell if you are not able to make it to the highest degree of happiness.

The answer is that He does forgive our wrong doings, but only if we ask to be forgiven.... and repent and TURN from our wrongdoings. There isn't any other way. God didn't want disobedience, but He knew it would happen.
We were created to be spiritual beings, therefore we will never cease to exist - which means that after our body dies, our spirit will have to go somewhere. The choices are Heaven or Hell, which will eventually be thrown into the lake of fire.
It's your choice, that's why people may tell you so.

Jesus's religion, is not what it used to be.

He never said he was god or anything remotely close to it.

he said he was the word, which is what moses and abraham were too. they all received Gods scripture because they were worthy of living by that word and would be the most appropriate to carry the message.

Therefore, having cleared that up, Jesus message was the worship of a single creator.

Most people worship a single creator but they put emphasis on other deities as well. These are forms of paganism.

So according to this, there are very few people who will actually go to hell for not believing in One God.

The number of people who do believe in God and still have messed up their lives with sin and corruption? theyre gonna make up the majority of people in hell.

Are they gonna stay there forever? I have no idea. Since they had faith , they might be forgiven and alllowed to leave hell at one point after they paid the consequences of their actions.
