I am a believer in God and Jesus, but I am not a believer in hell. Hell is not a place of eternal torment. Hell is the grave. I do wish all you hell believers would get down and get busy and study exactly what the word hell means. Would you condemn your own child to hell to suffer for a eternity? Are we no made in the image of God? Yes these are God's rules that we have to follow, so why not first see what his rules are. Eccl. 9:5 says that the DEAD know nothing. Read Jer. 7:31.

I definitely believe Jesus may very well have actually lived. I don't believe that he is God though but I do think he had some very good teachings for people to live by. However, Paul came in and twisted everything around that Jesus said in creating his own religion. Jesus was a Jewish reformer and said he didn't want anyone worshipping him or creating a religion. What was the first thing that Paul did? Created a religion called Christianity that had very little if anything to do with Jesus's teachings from the 4 main gospels.
Hell only exists in Paulian beliefs (otherwise commonly known as Christianity). There is no way to prove any of what you're suggesting.
A better question is why are you so arrogant to think your way is the only way?

Josephus, a Jewish historian, mentioned Jesus in his writings toward the end of the first century C.E., roughly 60 years after Jesus' death.
As a non-Christian, Josephus would have no reason to accept the historical reality of Jesus unless there was some sound basis for it.
In one of his works, Josephus discusses disturbances that were caused by the Jews during the time Pontius Pilate was governor of the region of Judea (26-36 C.E,) The disturbance centered around a man named Jesuss and his followers, Josephus identifies Jesus as "a wise man....a doer of wonderful works, a teacher of men who received the truth with pleasure," and he notes that Jesus was later condemned by Pilate to crucifixion. While this mention of Jesu does not suggest that Josephus himself accepted Jesus or the claim made about Jesus by his followers, it does seem clear that Josephus recognized Jesus to be a historical person who had a profound impact on the people he encountered.
Read also about Tacitus, a Roman historian.....Pliny the Younger another Roman source and Suetonius a Roman historian and lawyer.
All these writers prove the historical existence of Jesus......rather than biblical sources.

The only answer to give one in such a prediction is to reflect in the Bible at:Mark4:30-34. We have a two part job as Christains, to plant the seed, and to carrie out by living a Christ like life around them at all times, even if reason and the Holy Spirit doesnt move them your actions will over time show them the life they could have and it is so "simple" to so, believe if you are wright with God people will see something in you so diffrent they want to knwo what it is and how to get it. As for people not believing because of simplicity and they throw science at you , remeber all science of religion boils down to THEORIES and as we all know they would not be called a theory if they could prove it, so I can prove my God, science can only question. If there is a prblem of them not believing completely because scientific research contact me at volfrfitrzach@yahoo.com. i would be glad to help i have been researching this many days days now and its funny i came across you question. I hope this helps and God Bless!
Ps i heard once that you can lead a horse to water but you cannot force it to drink, well if you stuff enough salt in there mouth they will sure be thirsty....think on that.....

A little advice: we're way out in front of you.
Believers simply don't understand religion and religious belief very well, and it's silly for them to try to "teach" those of us who do. You're the ones lacking in understanding, as the questions on this site make abundantly clear. What you should be asking is how believers can get over their arrogance about these topics and accept that they're the ones not understanding. Just look at the answers you got here from believers - a clear majority of them saw this as an opportunity to throw around insults, obviously out of an inability to do any better than that.
If you could get Christians to stop insulting everyone, you might be off to a good start, but judging from your question (the ignorant arrogance in it), I don't think you're very interested in that.

Faith is an individual choice. Christians have NO scriptural requirement to save anybody! They could not if they wanted. Christians are expected by God to simply dialogue with unbelievers, to be carriers of the Good News, and to be the "salt" of this earth. We are to live our lives in such a manner that others COME TO US to see what "started the fire". Beyond that, every person once informed, makes their choice for or against God. That's legitimate and often final. It is sad, but we can only accomplish the task given us and not assume more.

What year is this????? 2007 AD ("Anno Domini"= "In the year of our Lord"). It was over 2007 years ago that Jesus Christ was born. After 33 1/2 years of life on Earth, He laid down His life for us, so that our sins would be forgiven. And all we have to do is accept Him as Lord and Savior.
He rose from the dead, on the third day, in fulfillment of the Scriptures, and was seen walking, talking, and eating by MORE THAN 500 people.
The probability of Jesus fulfilling just 48 of the 300+ prophecies about Him is 1:10 (62nd power). That number is 10 with 62 ZEROS behind it!!!!
Let's see anyone else fulfill 48 of the 300+ that Jesus fulfilled....

Peace be with you. And the Truth will make you free. Why do you do that which is pleasing and leave that which is not undone.
Truth; Thou shall not resist evil; Mt 5:39,
Thou shall love thy enemies Mt 5:44
And the soldiers said "What shall we do" and he said; "Do violence to no man"
Thou shall not fear death; Mt 10:28
To get them to believe, first you must take the beam from your eye.
And Jesus said; I tell you,n that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken and the other left. Two women shall be grinding together; the one will be taken, and the other left. Luke 17:34-36.

Live your life parallel to that of Christ; pray for them and they will be led to know that He is real. Actions speak much louder than words. For instance, if Jesus had not truly turned the other cheek, as he preached, then probably no one would have listened to him. Practice what you belief and people notice.

How did Jesus do it? Did He walk around telling everyone they were going to hell? Or, did He walk around showing them another way??
We must do what Jesus did, say what Jesus said. He loved all men, He wept for all men.
You can't herd cats, you can't push a rope in a straight line, you can't force someone or scare someone into Heaven. You must lead them.
