It says not to judge but people judge others,It says to have love for others but people dont.well only those people they wish to love.It says to eat of the fruit bearing tree and seed bearing plant, and some meats ,but people now adays eat mostly junk foods.so much is in the bible to do and not do. and people dont pay it any mind, they do what they want to,thinking well, all I have to do is say that there was a Jesus and I am making it.so why do so many so called Christians do this, my parents did what the bible said to do. my grandparnets did also.so it can be done, why do people want to pick what they want to do from the teachings of Christ?

Most do not believe that Jesus established an Authoritative Church.

Mt 28:18-20 Jesus delegated all power to the Apostles
Jn 20:23 power to forgive sins
1 Cor 11:23-24 power to offer sacrifice (Eucharist)
Lk 10:16 power to speak with Christ's voice
Mt 18:18 power to legislate
Mt 18:17 power to discipline

If you are able to interpret Scripture from any authority except what you view as holy, then there is no truth, all scripture is relative to what the individual wants to make it.

This is not what Jesus Christ established for His community.

Most people don't like it when you point out they are wrong or living their lives in a wicked way. It's easy to agree with certain parts of the Bible and discount the others to "make me feel good" I believe this is why you have some many who call themselves Christians yet do not follow God's teachings. None of us are perfect, neither Saint or Sinner, yet we should all strive to follow the Lord.

Well when Jesus came to us he changed everything,As HE said Himself He would tare down the temple and rebuild it in three days.

Theres lots of examples of the old jewish rules being broken,Davi went into the Holy of Holy's and eat the bread which was something he wasnt supposed to do,
Our Lord cured on the sabbath, the apostles didnt wash their hands before eating,

As for people pickibng what they want to hear?definately,

I actually think The words of Jesus spoke in the bible were actually verbatum what he said,Jesus knew all the ins and outs and He knew how things would be taken up.

People do see what they want to see,Someone who is good natured but bone idle might see the passages in the beatitudes and say great but may negate to some extent what it says in proverbs about laziness.
But good news is goods news and God isnt cruel

Your absolutely right, there are a lot of people that are Christian do not follow all that the Bible requires. But then again, only one has ever done all that the Bible required....all the rest of us are working on it. Hope to be perfect one day but haven't got there yet.
The problem I have seen, is that the ones that cant do it all still expect other to be keeping them. That leads to religion and bondage. Forget all but 2 things and you will be alright......Love God, Love people.
God Bless and I Love you in Christ.

But that is exactly what you are doing, and whinging at others for doing the same.
That is the one common denominator amongst all Christians.
Hypocrisy

Incidentally have you really studied the bible, and follow it's teachings exactly.
Or do you believe in the same interpretations as your grandparents and parents?
Give some serious thought will you, before you start condemning others.

I think you're absolutely right. It seems like Christians look over the sentence "love your neighbor" and make someone else feel guilty about their own insecurities. I'm not trying to be rude, but doesn't it seem like some of us make other feel bad just because we are insecure about who we are. If we believe in something, why don't we follow it wholeheartedly? That is something I been asking.

Take the whole counsel of the Word of God. All scripture is profitable. We need to live the whole Bible and not just the parts that we believe in.

Everyone will be judged for what they did on this earth. No one is getting away with anything. So why dont we let God ask us these questions. Everyone has faults and problems, its called sin. Show me a perfect christian and I'll show you a liar. We don't all walk on water, ya know!
