The bible dose has a lot of truth and it has many things that are incorrect with the spiritual path. A lot of the lost work found, Dead Sea scrolls, and books taken out of the bible should be put back in to it. The other fact is most of the work in the new testament was written 300 years or so after Jesus came and was changed buy the church. However, god has a built in safeguard, Prayer. Sincere Prayer. For the sake of one rose, a gardener is a slave to a thousand thorns.

What ought to you concentration on data? There are uncomplicated contradictions interior the Bible, which believers bypass to tremendous lengths to describe away, to the point the position they're keen to damage the entire that technique of the textual content. (celebration: Luke and Matthew provide 2 thoroughly incompatible genealogies for Joseph, yet they argue Luke is giving Mary's relatives tree, even if Luke says, fairly obviously, that it is Joseph's, for that reason implying that Luke became an fool and hence not often worth of being interior the Bible in any respect.) There are also many blunders, which they in many cases excuse through saying that they are "authentic sufficient," i.e., a rabbit "form of" chews cud and a bat is "form of" like a chook. And even as the Bible contradicts mountains of historic and medical data, the believer will say that the technological know-how must be incorrect, and attempt to go back up with a scenario that still produces the data yet someway would not contradict the Bible. (celebration: All kangaroos are descended from 2 on the ark, and they floated from Mt. Ararat to Australia on rafts.) So i ought to assert that the priority is that convinced, it is been achieved, and many Christians have listened, yet they decline to settle for it, they only artwork with what they have and are available up with the perfect factors they could be able to imagine of. save in ideas, regardless of the actuality that, that many Christians have a much more desirable sensible and liberal attitude, feeling that the Bible has fee that is going previous all its blunders.

If you believe nothing else in the Bible then it is a great history book for the Old Testement tells us Jesus' family tree. There are some wonderful psalmists who wrote lovely poetry and put it to song and there are some prophets, who told the world the Word of God. Slip foreward to the New Testament. Go to the sermon on the mount: Jesus is speaking. He is God made man. Read those words, live them every day: Love one another as I have loved you, do unto others as you would have them do unto you. If you do nothing else but live by these two rules, you will be living by the Word of God.

Why we know that the Bible came from God for one very simple reason: Jesus told us so. It is His authority, as the God of the universe, that we are sure that the Bible is the Word of God. He confirmed the Old Testament's authority in His teachings, and He promised the authoritative New Testament through His disciples. The Son of God Himself assures us that the Bible is the Word of God.

Moses did not have any self serving reasons to lie. He provided miracles. The frame work of the OT was absolutely essential for understanding Jesus and His teachings.

Well...for starters.....here we go..

1) The Bible has never lied...and it never will. I challenge you to follow the principles of the Bible for just 6 months and you see what will happen....

2) If you were supreme ruler of the universe...would'nt you want you whole truth to be supplied to your people. Would'nt you want them to follow you on all your words and not jsut some.....makes sense yet?

3) If you were supreme ruler....and your sinful humans twisted you words and your truth and left some out...would you not add the missing parts....would you not force your humans...since you have all power over them......to add the missing parts.

4) God never tells a lie...that is why in court you swear over the Bible to tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth...because the Bible was and still is the most truthful book (being 100% and 100% complete) it would make sense to sear on it alone...no?

5) The bible took almost 2000 years to be completed. Most of its authors were dead and gone before the others came along. With that in mind, is it not amazing how it still has historical and physical accuracy. It still has spiritual accuracy and it all fits tugether like one big puzzle. Anything hat was said to be done was done...anything that is said to be fulfilled at a certain was fulfilled at the specific time or is being fulfilled at the time needed (ex. the second coming of Jesus).

Hope this was helpful.....

Be Blessed

The fact that time and time again things have come up in archeology that have proven the accuracy of the text over all these years for instance the dead sea scrolls. Not to mention that the current english bible is translated directly from original texts of the hebrew and greek. There have been many prophecies in the bible that have come true that were impossible to guess and was never wrong even in one sense. There could be very very slight mistranslations in words , but all the fundamental truths are real, especially concerning the flood of evidence surrounding Jesus life death, burial and resurrection from the dead in which multitudes were witness of, not to mention countless believers who were brutally martyred for their faith and were willing to die before they denied jesus christ. not to mention my own personal life and the lifes of others today that can testify for searching out many ways and only finding the truth in Jesus Christ.

The greatest proof is that the promises which God makes in the Bible have come about in my life as well as people I know .....and others that I've read about in history for thousands of years.

All questions as to the acuracy of the modern Bible were answered with the finding of the Dead Sea Scrolls. There are virtually no differences between what we have today and what was printed and buried. If there were differences, then I would tend to agree with questioning the validity of what we have.
