At the time of the crucifiction, resurection, and ascention Jesus practiced Judaism, and it was many years before the advent of the Christian church, so when did Jesus become a Christian?

I ask this question because I have heard many of today's Christians claim that Jesus was the first and only true Christian. How could that be?

-believing someone is a sinner is pretty darn critical
-yet if you do not 'go out and save the world', then you are not obeying the great comission

I know in the teaching of Islam that anybody from us is born with the instinct that there is no other god but God < our creator >.
but many people with the influence of their parents (or other people arround) become buddhists, atheists, christians.....
But Christians believe that Jesus is not a prophet, but he is son of God who came to die for our sins.
so if you were left on an island from the age of 6 until you die. would you sin? if not , does it not contradict your teachings about Jesus?
Please I want honesty in your answers. I am seeking honest Christians, no bad words. we are just looking for the truth.

If I was to be left on an island, I would not sin , because I would not know what is a sin .then in our teachings which is based in the worship of God who forgives the sins, and punishes the sinners if he wants so, and reward the good doers if they believe in him, and grant them paradise with his mercy, doesn't contradict anything. .

The logic, faulty as it is, is that in times of fear, people 'revert' to belief in the supernatural.

I'm a disbeliever, but I'd hate to see my belief system paraded around as 'the desperate act of desperate men'. It's like saying 'there are no non-cannibals in plane crashes' - hardly a stunning advertisement for eating human flesh, don't you think?

Are there any _theists_ who find the 'atheists in foxholes' argument insulting?

Or you prayt to God and ask that if he exists to show you that the bible is perfect?

Sounds like being converted to Biblerism.
Someone care to explain it a bit better, thanks

Do you find it harder to pray now, I certainly do.I never used to find it hard, but now for some for some reason I find sometimes that my motivation is so low it is not funny. Wouldn't it be easier if we could see God or hear from him auditably all the time. Reliying of faith alone is very difficult sometimes, what do you think about it? How do you get motivated . Any advise for me, because I am feeling spiritually flat as a tact.

We all have the power over life and death. Since we have the power to kill anytime we want does it stand to reason that anytime we are not killing we are giving life simply by allowing others to live?

I have recently found out that women are not allowed to go to funerals, shouldnt a woman be allowed to go to her parents, childs or, family members funeral, i think its just wrong, i heard the reason for this is because women weep and make a scene and this is why they are not allowed to witness the burial, they are simply too emotional.

Today a muslim freind of mine is not going to her own daughters funeral i think thats just plain wrong.

whats your opinion????

Muslims have broad, airy and grandeur-like architecture of Mosques, Christians have spiritual sharp turrets pointed towards the sky kind of grandiose Churches, Hindus have narrow, unventilated, 'enclosed' and colorful Temple structures.
Does religious architecture reflect the character of its followers?

Kindly educate.

Agnosticism covers a wide variety of beliefs- what are yours? Do you have any rituals? Any sacraments? How do you choose to experience God, and what do you think about God? (This can refer to a dualistic God/Goddess like I believe in)
