Sweety, dilemma understood...
Been there done that more than once.........I am matter of fact, I am right in the middle of reving my prayer life back up again... Its all apart of who we are ... The sink holes and dark moments .... But never ever give up... I have these moments of darkness but I always have JESUS in my light.Wether darkness tries to swallow me or not JESUS is right there and in the front of my every thought..
It is hard to rely on faith alone but that is why we are so unique.. It takes a very strong person to put their faith on just faith..
So think of that next time you get discouraged.. You are strong because you put your faith in JESUS ..
HOW TOTALLY AWESOME IS THAT !!!!!!!!!!!!!
And just in case you maybe didn't know... GOD doesn't think less of you due to doubt or a weak moment.. Matter of fact , GOD knows these moments will strengthen you if you will let them..
Be patient dear.. You will come outta it soon enough and you will be stronger for it..
Bless you for being so honest in your question.... You have more faith than you know...
OH !!! and 1 more thing :)
My Pastor gave me this verse to read once when I was so low , I could not even see a light..Hope it helps you..I memorized it and boy does it really help...
Micah 7:8
Do not gloat my enemies!
Though I have fallen, I will rise.
Though I sit in darkness,
The LORD will be my light..
Of course depending on the version you are reading , this verse could read differently. Mine is taken from the NIV..
Love and Blessings dear child....

Spiritual dryness is part of the journey. It is a phase and will pass and come again later, and pass, etc. Just keep at your prayer discipline and the Spirit will be working deep within you without your even knowing. Then one day you will discovered that you have changed a bit, and you are starting to look a little more like Christ. And you think, how did that happen? Stick with it.

When you feel your self getting lazy in you prayer life, keep praying because the devil is always busy. If you stop, it is just what the devil want. Think of all the things you can think God for, and where he has brought you from. then begin to talk with God about your feeling, and ask him to help you, and you will find your self feeling the spirit to pray. I think we all get lazy at times but we have got to keep praying. Man should always pray and not faint.

First of all, never give up. Secondly, God loves you and is with you. Sometimes when we can't pray or fall silent in prayer is the best prayer of all. Remember that no one, except Jesus, knows how to pray the right way. God Bless you on your journey!

Ironic and "circular reasoning" as it might seem, God can (and will) help you with this problem if you just ask him for the help -- He even said He would.
Seems strange, but pray -- asking Him for help talking to Him. Doesn't even have to be something complicated -- just a simple conversation (even though it may seem one-sided to you). If it seems one-sided, include that in your request. God is real, and He does answer (although I know of many here in Y!-A who'll want to convince you of the opposite). He will answer your request, and at exactly the right time.
Ask Him for help talking to Him.
Ask Him for motivation to pray.
Ask Him (as I often do) to help you know what to pray for, and to help you pray for it.
Ask Him to help you understand and be at peace with His answer.
And ask Him to speak to you, and to help you to listen.
I hope this helps.
