Question

What are Buddhist's stance on homosexuality and designer clothing.

Also, are monks allowed to have sex at all... ever? If so can they be homosexuals? If not are they allowed to... self- love?

Buddhism does not condemn homosexuals in the same way as it does not condemn any wrongdoing.We have no right to condemn others.Our duty is to show how real happiness can be gained.We have no right to condemn those who think or act differently from us,especially when we ourselves are slaves of sensual pleasure in other forms.We know that when we point one finger at others,the other three fingers are pointing at us.

Buddhists don't have any problem with designer's clothing.Lay Buddhist can wear anything they like.

Budhhist monks are not allow to have sex.The vinaya rules are very clear on this.Ejaculation is only permissible in wet dream.

Buddhists would never show hate towards homosexuals, and I'm sure there are many homosexual Buddhists. As for whether we think it is natural, the Buddha did not consider such feeble matters as relevant in the path to enlightenment, like many things, he let science, and the study of worldly knowledge handle these issues and instead worked on ways to further awaken himself. He would preach that the feelings can be unhealthy if one makes them so, just as in straight relationships, one can enjoy the love of another, but must realize that all things chance, and not get attached to the feeling.

Most Buddhists would not see the point of designer clothing. It is attachment to worldly things. The money could better be spent on productive causes.
And depending on which Buddhist sect you go to will answer the second question. Most are expected to refrain from sex.

I'm sure most are open on homosexuality. Designer clothing would be out along with all desires. They believe that is what causes suffering. I'm not sure about monks having sex, but I do know they are enchoraged to go beyond Earthly desires.

People are allowed to have sex; but monks are NOT allowed - even no homosexuals.
But homosexuality is considered as bad and we should avoid it.

Designer clothing is allowed for people but NOT allowed for monks.
It is slight non-appreciated for people too.

I can only answer a portion of your question.

I know for certian that Soto Zen monks are allowed to have sex. It's my understanding that nobody tells you whats right or wrong in Soto Zen, because really, you know for yourself.
