Exactly. What ARE they thinking?

It's okay by me, I'm all about equality. Let them be married if they insist. Let them see what it's REALLY like after the honeymoon is over. Let them sleep in their cars when they're served with restraining orders. Let them live in their cars when their wages are attached. Let them sell their homes when the court ordered divorce settlements rains down on them.

Note to self: Buy shares in a few legal firms.

The moral is: Be careful what you ask for, you may get it.

Because they want the right to visit their partner in a hospital, even if the partner's parents disapprove of them. Because they want to be able to share health benefits with their partner, just as the heterosexuals can, rather than only working to help pay for the heterosexuals' family benefits. Because they want to be able to be counted as one legal entity, just as married heterosexuals can. And because they are not ashamed of their partnership and want to be clear that it's committed, monogamous, and as permanent as any marriage can be hoped to be.

The year is 2007 so lets grow with the times and learn tolerance and understanding instead of judging on what we feel or deem normal and natural in gods eyes. God too gave us the greatest of gifts and that is to love unconditionally no matter what.

Marriage isn't about man/woman it is about two people that love each other and to be honest it is shallow to think that love is limited and conditioned so bad to deny the rights to all people to love who they want and live the way they feel is right for them.

It isn't for me to say what is gods will for man and woman. Nor does anyone else carry that right to judge so badly cause the ignorance and intolerance that plague this nation that causes hate and violence against innocent people who have just about as much rights as you and I, to love..be loved and live with the freedoms we speak so highly about.

It does work for those who are committed. It does not work or shall I say it is not legal and binging in God's eyes for homesexuals because it is against God's Way. God meant for marriage to be something beautiful to a man and a woman. I would not say that it doesn't work for heterosexuals. May God Bless U.

Ask them and see what they say! You seem to have posted in R&S instead of the homosexuality forum.
