I have noticed when I ask a question, my points dicrease. Is this fair?

Asking a question does not necessarily means I do not know the answer. Sometimes I am just curious about how other people''s answers would.

If we all are sons and daughters of Adam and Eve, would not this imply that we are offspring of incest?

Regardless of any justificaction, why incest is forbidden?. I personally believe it should be forbidden.

If anybody has a different story about our origin and procreation, please indulge me.

Here is the question. How can God be "good" when he is automatically correct in everything. I can understand how a human can have good qualities, because they overcome the urge for evil in the face of a difficult life. However for God there is no challenge since he wouldn't have to deal with every day problems, since he is omnipotent. Since he is omnipotent, doesn't that mean that for God being good requires no effort. For a human, being good requires a lot of effort. So doesn't that reduce God's status from "Good" to "always correct", since it takes him no effort to overcome evil.

On his trip to Egypt, Abraham told Sarah that if any body askes her about him, she should mention that he was her brother, as Sarah was so beautifull, and Abraham was afraid that he might be killed.

Answers should, please, be in black and white (YES, or NO). No justification and/or long stories required..

Ever since I was little I get an uneasy, some what fearful feeling, when told of stories in the bible or when going to church. When thinking of god I never had peaceful feelings or feelings of contentment. Now that I am an adult and have explored other religions I have found that inner peace I craved as a child. I am wondering if anyone else has had these same feelings when it comes to Christianity and would you allow Christianity to be pushed on your children possibly giving them those same uneasy, fearful, feelings?

"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you." .

Is this really a Bible verse?

I don't beleive in god!!! Why is it that most, not all, christians feel that they have the right to shove thier beliefs down my throat and expect me to beleive it? Why is it that I am always wrong in thier eyes? Why is it that they will never see my point of view? Why, because I don't belive in god do they see me as less than them? I don't beleive in god, but I do have the right to have an opinion!!!

Before all christians jump on here and start saying that they don't do any of the above mentioned things, I'm not directing this at ALL christians!!!

I have read the bible many times from leaf to leaf trying to find a reference. It is mentioned that Moses crossed the sea, with no indication to which sea. In the Hebrow copy, it is mentioned that he crossed the "Yem suf" which means the REED SEA.

Reed Sea suggests that what Moses crossed was kind of a shallow body of water where reed grow.. kind of a lake (fresh water). Could that have been lake Manzalah in lower Egypt?

Please, only unbiased people who seek nothing but the truth, regardless how religious or non-religious they are, should answer the question. No offence intended for any believer. Thank you.

cause i've heard that ppl go to hell if they kill themselves, but also that children don't go to hell if they die cause they're supposed to be innocent and whatever, so what about if someone kills themself as a child?

and if you don't believe in hell then don't answer, cause that's not the point.
