"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you." .
Is this really a Bible verse?

LOL some one has been watching pulp fiction. Yes the Bible verse is real. It was a prophecy during a time when Israel was under Babylonian captivity. The Babylonians did not believe in one God at that time period. However the prophecy was saying that they would know that the Lord was real after He struck them down...Hope this helps... and the movie really is a classic!

Without a Biblical citation can't real know who the author was. However, I doubt it because shepherds have enough trouble with run away sheep to take on the burden of the weak, especially in the dark.

It's from the book of Ezekiel. I'm not too sure of the verse, however. The translation might vary depending on the version of the Bible one owns.

It sounds like phaa-Laaaattt-UUUU-lencCce to me... but all Bible stuff sounds like that.
The odd-ball use of language is half the attraction to the odd-ball people that faith tends to attract. I mean, who in their right mind would ever admit to believing so much that is so obviously unbelievable? LOL. Talk about pulp fiction....
Odd-balls, all... no doubt!
