cause i've heard that ppl go to hell if they kill themselves, but also that children don't go to hell if they die cause they're supposed to be innocent and whatever, so what about if someone kills themself as a child?

and if you don't believe in hell then don't answer, cause that's not the point.

Children are innocent. They have no sin on them. Jesus made that very clear about children. No child who kills themselves will be going to hell.

I was raised that if a person took their own life, that they went straight to Hell. But, now that i am older, and have studied the Bible for sime time. Nowhere does it say or mention the word suicide, or going to Hell if you kill yourself. The Bible does say "Thou shalt not Kill" tho.
I believe that it is the state of the SOUL and whether you are BORN AGAIN on where you will spend eternity. Without going into a big Preaching Sermon or anything, I will cut it short by saying I believe that children are very special to God, and God is Merciful and forgiving. But he is a Jealous God not to be reckoned with. Sorry if I got sidetracked, but I sensed a sincerity in your question. Hope you find your answer.

If you are saved, then no, you don't go to hell. You just will have to answer to God at the Great White Throne of Judgement as to why you slapped Him in the face by throwing away this precious gift he gave you that is life away.

If you are not saved, you go to hell no matter what.

If you are a child, too young to be held accountable, I'm assuming he'd be too young to truly understand what suicide is to begin with...

I think that only God know's the situation, so NO not everyone who kills themselves goes to hell. It depends on the things they had to go through in their lives, and what lead up to their suicide. Most important is their level of knowledge. If you are aware that God wants you to live, and that is why he put you on earth, and you go against his wishes; then you would go to hell.
Only God can Judge.
If you are talking about yourself, then I suggest you do not kill yourself, because if you know enough to ask this question, than you know enough not to do it. I often wanted to kill myself as a child; and I'm thankful now that I didn't because things do get better. And there was a reason why I had to go through what I went through. Even though I couldn't see it then.

According to christians and the bible then no...because suicide is merely the result of your incapability to cope with the intensity of the emotional or physical pain you are experiencing.

Some advice for you...the point of life is to have an existence you can admire. Everyone feels the same ratio of pleasure to suffering...and you will just be reborn as some other conscious organism once you die anyway.

So suicide is only logical if you cannot be happy with your existence.

I don't know. I do not know at what age God considers a person responsible for their choice about who they say Jesus is. A born again believer in Christ would not die if they commit suicide, suicide is not the unforgiveable sin. If a teenager, for example, who did not believe in Jesus killed themselves, I would have to be honest and say I do not know where they would go, heaven or hell. I can't think of anything, biblically speaking, that would speak directly to a particular age where God considers us "responsible" for believing, or rejecting, Jesus. My best answer would be, of course God is perfectly just, in all His judgments.

God loves us all. He gave us a gift of life, with free will. We do not have free will, until we are able to speak for ourselves and fully take care of ourselves. Children, whether mentally disturbed or not, would go to heaven because they are pre-destined to go. If a person commits suicide after that age of innocence and youth, then he/she made that decision knowing the world and God, and what would happen if he/she did commit suicide. Considering if they knew God's consequences, then yes they would go to hell.

convinced, that is! all and diverse has relations in a unmarried style or yet another. I have had to handle various suicides in my interest as a first Sergeant interior the Air stress. Suicide impacts those that are closest to the persons the most like relations and acquaintances. It also impacts someones coworkers, acquaintances, besides as those who knew of the fellow. you should maintain in mind that suicide is the most egocentric act that someone can do. Taking your man or woman existence without searching at each of the repercussions is egocentric and irresponsible.

I believe that most, if not all, people who kill themselves are mentally ill. I do not believe that a mentally ill person would be sent to hell--particularly a child.
