You could include the name of one of your main deities. For example: Brighid's Flames. Or you could research where one of your deities were once worshiped and use the placename or a river name to honor that deity. For example: Kildare's Fire. You could even research the name in the language of the people's who once worshiped your deities.

Is there a specific animal associated with your deities? If so, your name could honor that. If Epona was one of your main deities, your name could reflect that by being the White Horse Coven. If a stag is associated with one of your deities, you could be the Sacred Stag Coven.

If everyone had decided to have the same kind of tool (like a wooden wand), you could include the name of the tree that is revered in your tradition. For example: Oaken Pact
You could use a particular stone in the same way and each have one attached to a cord that you always wear during rites. For example: Amber Moon. Either way the wood or stone would have to have very special meaning to your traditions/practices and to each individual. If you always use lavendar in your rituals, you could use the name Lavendar in your name and give each initiate a cutting from a plant of Lavendar to care for to symbolize the sharing of knowledge and the care and attention it will need.

I like the idea of using the word "nest" in the name of a coven because of the feeling that it is a safe place to go to where you are watched over by your mother. I also like the words "whisper, whispers, whispering" because it reminds me to listen for the voice within. It's a calming word.

Obviously, the possibilities are endless.....

hmmm....a witch....lol...I am a "natural and solitary witch"....so I am a loner...but I think a good coven name would and should come from ALL the members....why not take the first letter of each of you and put them together somehow....or better yet....let the Mother pick it for you....

Blessed Be
