I am extremly interested in this religion, and have been for the last 6 years. I have a couple of books but they just dont give the information that I am looking for and I would like to know if anyone knows of any good sites out there about the topic. I know very little, but the things I do know is that we worship two or more god or goddesses, but who are they, where do they come from? How do I know wich one to worship, wich one is right for me? I do know that you can practice solotary and I know that's what I want to do, but where do I start? What is the history of Wicca? Every time I look it up on the internet I get the same things, you know, the old wicca is not evil, we dont worship the evil ext ... I know that already, I want to know more. Im ready and want to learn. Any good sites anyone, please :-)

Listening to an audio-book version of the King James Bible, I came across a place that seemed to pretty clearly condemn gays. It was the part w/ Lot. Did I understand this part of The Good Book rite?

Aren't I entitled to ask who people worship?
I'm sorry, if not, who did I offend?

I know Luke 1:37 states with God nothing is impossible. Are there others? Also what scriptures speak of God's protection? Thanks.

What would the big deal be? Assume Mary of Magdeline was the wife of Jesus. (After all he was a simple carpenter up to his 30's). Assume she bore the child of Jesus. First and foremost, a blood line of Jesus could not be proven with Mary fo Magdeline's DNA. (Her DNA would only prove her relationship to be proven). One would need the DNA of Jesus to prove any "Sacred Bloodline". Furthermore, okay, say we can prove, beyond any question, that the heir of Jesus exists today. What would be the problem? Obviously the Pope may be out of a job and replaced by the heir, but other than that, what's the big deal. Consider too if the heir is a woman, and then compare that to the heir being male.
I'm not a believer in the "code", but I am curious as to the hypothetical repercussions.

The bible speaks of eternal damnation... No god would ever allow someone to be in pain for all of eternity. There would be no point in that. A real supreme being would simple cease the offender's existence rather than torture them from now till eternity!!!

So when I read the outline of this retreat, it seems like the big message they're trying to bring out is "encouraging" each other in order to grow in the grace of God. So things like accountability, challenging, rebuking, exhorting.
Any ideas for a skit? I need a playful/fun skit, and a serious skit. This is for the University level.
(Yes i'm an educated man who minored in math, majored in engineering, but still ended up finding Jesus makes more sense than other explainations)

and nobody had the guts to contradict him? Although I will not contest that it was possible there may have also been some hand waving and murmuring of magic words for show.

All they do is just accuse you of lying or taking things out of contexts when the contexts are very clearly written.

Otherwise, they'll accuse the islamic hadeeth writer of corruption when the these writers are closer to muhammad's era than they are.

Muslims have no answers, because they never bothered to learn about their own evil religion. Is this why, they always end up inevitably as suicide bombers?

Magdelene and Jesus procreated and the fact that the "secret sect" of the Vatican was protecting the religion from coming out that they were actually to be a woman based religion? If so, did it make you wonder if it's true. And if so, would you accept this?
