If the cell phone means something to you, definitely so. Religious people swear on Bibles because G-d's word will often cause them to keep their oaths, it means something to them. If Bibles don't mean anything to you, swearing on them is definitely pointless.

Actually it says in the Bible not to swear. So those that actually put their hand on the bible and 'swear to tell the truth' do not believe in the Bible.

I think it's kind of pointless because to most people the Bible doesn't really mean anything.
