I mean, God wants us to know the begot sections. Wouldn't a unified field theory be AT LEAST as useful?

for that matter, why does the Bible not include ONE SINGLE thing that was not known by people of that time period already?

Because that would have taken the fun away from the people who are trying to figure it out!!!!!

More seriously, God has given us what we need to salvation and to know Him in the Bible. And principles to live a life worth to be lived.
Following that principles, we could have a better life, and even advance on science. By the way, the Bible does include the fact that the Earth is not flat, but a sphere (and that written 600 B.C.!!), for instance; but the primary goal of the Bible is not to teach science.

On the other hand, It seems that science has advanced, but socially people are just as bad (or worse) than before! Science helps to understand the world, but a relationship with God changes the hearts, which leads to a better world! Seems to me that God included what was more important. :)

Whoever wrote the Bible didn’t even know about electricity, gravity, or evolution. Galileo Galilei would not be born for another 600 years, and Newton for another 100 after that.

The only unifying anything in the Bible is the simpleminded philosophy and worldview of a bunch of quasi-historic semi-nomadic Semitic goat herders, whose only other really big idea was circumcision. The only thing we know for sure about those illiterate sheep-jumpers, is there proclivity to whack-off body parts and p!ss-off everyone they met.

How goofy do a group of people have to be to invent a god that hates them too? Is the whole bloody history of Abraham’s three spawn (Christianity, Islam, and Judaism) just the result of guilt these people felt for having sex with sheep?

My friend I had to look that up in the wikipedia and it was still over my simple Texas girl's head. I take it by your example why didn't God just make a family tree? Am I in the ballpark? All I can say is the writers of the bible had to get a lot of earlier myths and legends somewhere in there. The order or time frame was secondary to covering the bases.

funny i kind of answered an opposite question earlier on about why "creationism" isn't in the Biology class. (was that the Retard in disguise?)

Bible = Theology classes
Unified Field Theory = Science classes.

It does. I'm sure I read something in the bible about a couple of goat herders consolidating their property.
