Evolution is not religion. Atheists can accept the theory of evolution, just as the Catholic Church officially has.

Pope Pius XII declared that "the teaching authority of the Church does not forbid that, in conformity with the present state of human sciences and sacred theology, research and discussions . . . take place with regard to the doctrine of evolution, in as far as it inquires into the origin of the human body as coming from pre-existent and living matter—[but] the Catholic faith obliges us to hold that souls are immediately created by God"

Or are you suggesting that the Pope has two religions?
Clearly it would be less destructive if Creationists stick to souls and Evolutionists stick with bodies. Then we will never clash.

No, adaption is a fact. Evolution is science, based on study and real world investigation, rather than the ramblings of bronze age tribesmen.

Evolution and adaption are the same thing...just different time periods for each to occur.

"Good traits remain" would be more pertinent rather than adaption.

For example, a religious person that evolves to believe that he is better off blowing himself up on a bus is not a trait that will survive. The person that evolves to realize that sweaty people carrying their tome of religion are best avoided will live on to pass their genes to the next generation.

Wayne, you are winning no points with anyone taking this ridiculous line. If you insist on continuing it, you will only turn people further against Christianity than you've already done. At this moment, you sound like a clanging gong or a crashing cymbal. I urge you to drop it.

how many times do we have to tell you that evolution is not a religion?
-And the central part of evolution ("dogma" as you so lamely put it), is not "adaptation", it is "mutation".
