Would you rather we put islam down instead? So, you're saying its not muslims' fault but your allah's fault?
Comparing Jesus & Muhammad.
Coming before God:
Jesus - Matthew 3:16 As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting on him. 17And a voice from heaven said, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased."
Muhammad - Bukhari, Vol 2, No. 167 "The sun eclipsed and the prophet jumped up terrified that it might be the Hour (of Judgement)"
*** Clearly, compared to Jesus, Muhammad does not even have what it takes to stand before God.
Handling Satan:
Jesus - Matthew 16:23 "Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the things of God, but the things of men."
Muhammad - ISHAQ:166 “‘You have recited to the people that which I did not bring to you from Allah, and you have said that which He did not say to you.’ The Messenger was grieved and feared Allah greatly.
*** Jesus courageously confronts Satan, Muhammad subjugates himself to Satan.

Why the question?
As a Muslim, I would be insulting Allah if I were to be so presumptuous as to defend Him, when in actually, I am defending myself.
As for defending my beliefs, I try to do so on a daily basis by living a good life, making friends with non-Muslims and influencing by example.
I can argue till I'm blue in the face with logic and never change the mind of someone who thinks ill of Islam.
On the other hand, telling people I am Muslim and being a good neighbor, a good friend and good citizen will go alot farther and that is how Allah wants us to live.
Muslims are in a period of challenge, handling it appropriately and civilly is how I will honor Islam
Salaam (Peace)

Are you missing the word "down", somewhere in there? People are trying yo understand Islam. I also think that "trying to disprove" and "put down" are the same thing. You don't try to disprove something be complimenting it. What does Islam is not the Muslims mean?

Disproving Islam is already done by muslims. This quote may help:
"I contend we are both atheists, I just believe in one fewer god than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours."
...Stephen F Roberts
The fact that ALL religions say that everyone else is going to hell means that EVERYONE is going to hell. That notion is as preposterous as a perfect being ever needing to create a hell in the first place.

i don't actively "attempt to disprove Islam". I do, besides the undeniable fact that, undertaking the Muslims who come right here to make fantastic claims approximately Islam. >>maximum folk dont even study the "essays" human beings variety as much as >>attempt to falsify Islam besides. humorous, the countless maximum infamous essay posters I see on R&S are the Muslims.
