It has a bill like a duck, a beaver like tail, has hair like a bear, lays eggs like a turtle, has web feet like a duck, crawls like a reptile, feeds young on milk like a mammal, detect's eletrical impulse's, & has a poisonous spike on back leg, it is known as a Platypus, so if evolution is true which animal did it evolve from ? as it has so many different animal characteristics !! (Maybe God created this animal to prove evolution wrong)

Kingdom: Animalia
Phylum: Chordata
Class: Mammalia
Order: Monotremata
Family: Ornithorhynchidae
Genus: Ornithorhynchus
Species: O. anatinus
The order monotremata (the platypus and the echidna) branched from the placental and marsupial mammals. The branching occured after development of milk glands (modified sweat glands), but before an alternative to reptilian-style egg-laying. As for the duck bill, the form has evolved numerous times, most notably, the hadrosaurs. There are other poisonous mammals, the shrews for one. Not surprisingly, the earliest mammals and their precursors, the mammaliformes, were shrewlike. There is an exquisitely preserved fossil, Castorocauda lutrasimilis, that shows many features of the future mammals.
Evolution takes study, but there is a marvelous pattern of relatedness if you look closely.

Well, I wouldn't expect all evolutionists to have a deep knowledge of the biological aspects of obscure animals. That's asking a bit much.
I accept that there are animals and such that challenge (but not disprove) Darwin's theories, but on the other hand, there are many arguments that the evolution of the platypus can be exlained.
See here, for example:

The platypus and the echidna are both monotremes (egg-laying mammals) and evolved long before mammals as we know them. In fact, it is thought that mammals evolved from monotremes. To answer your question, we, as yet, don't know what animal the platypus evolved from as the fossil evidence hasn't been discovered yet.

Sure, and Adam and Eve's children doing each other is so much better than a microscopically changed Homosapien doing a mate that shares 99.999999999999999999999999999999999% of his DNA. You guys never win do you?

it lays eggs ohh damn that would support a link in evolution argument between mammals n other animals an egg laying mammal known as a montreme tends to support the evolution argument rather then find fault with it

This question only tells me that you are completly ignorant to the reality of the world and it's inhabitants .Why dont you try reading something other than the bible to explain your questions before you post them because by not doing so you look like a complete fool. Do yourself a favour and wake up to fact not fiction, you might be surprised on what you find out.

It's a monotreme as I recall. Very indicative of waht early mammals would have been like, so the best guess is that it is descended from early mammals that were isolated. Australia's awesome like that

No I think the penguin is a better example. A bird that can't fly, whose primary home is in the ocean, who also walks upright.

Try reading before spouting - the evolution of the Platypus and its monotreme relatives is rather well documented...
