I wanting to find a more stress free way of viewing life.

I am sick of wishing my life away, you know can't wait for weekend, summer holiday, christmas, wedding, house move, kids. Its making time go too fast. I want to start enjoying everyday and making the most of life - not letting my mind get caught up in trivial things and the 'rat race'.

I don't want to abandon my career and family and go and live on an island or anything, but want to look at my life from a new perspective. I think I need to establish some sort of spirituality (not in a religous sense though), maybe some sort of meditation etc.

Any ideas please?

Ok I've revised my last question.

Most people are close minded, and I am trying to figure out why. I am not just talking about people that won't listen to the other side of the argument. I am talking also about, for example, anyone who knows as fact either that God exists or that he doesn't (unless they have personally seen him.)

Is it because they believe that their system of logic is better than those who do not agree with them, or that they know more about the subject? There are both the intelligent and stupid, the knowledgable and the ignorant, on both sides of any major disagreement such as the existence of God, so this doesn't make sense.

So if you "know" either that God exists or that he doesn't, think about this: why are there millions of people, many of whom are smarter than you, that "know" that you are wrong? Kind of makes your opinion worthless, does it not?

And yet somehow people have the nerve to call stupid those that have a different belief about an unprovable topic

Man 1: "God, I accepted Jesus and called out his name, told everyone about it, helped 10 devil worshippers convert to Christianity, praised your name in church on Sunday, and you know all my good works please bless me."

Man 2: "God, I didn't accept Jesus but I accept that I am a sinner."

If he doesn't o well, I will be already in Heaven then anyway so it will not matter being in Heaven if he come's in one thousand years(which I doubt as it will be before that)as the glory of Heaven cannot be prepared to the nicest parts of earth. With me being in Heaven then I wonder how many Christians on the earth will be waiting for this rapture. It will not worry me, as how can it worry me if I am already in Heaven. But it will not stop other Christians worrying about when the rapture will happen. So Christians do you believe Christ will return to earth to rule for 1000 years within 100 years. Me , i believe that he will 100% and that is a garauntee. What do you think?

When you look at me
All that you can see
is the scarf that covers my hair
My words you can't hear
because you're too full of fear,
mouth gaping, all you do is stare

You think it's not my choice
in your own "liberation" rejoice.
You think I'm uneducated,
trapped, oppressed and subjugated,
You're so thankful that you're free.

But non-Muslim woman you've got it wrong
You're the weak and I'm the strong.
For I've rejected the trap of man.
Fancy clothes - low neck, short skirt
those are devices for pain and hurt.
I'm not falling for that little plan.

I'm a person with ideas and thought.
I'm not for sale, I can't be bought.
I'm me - not a fancy toy,
I won't decorate anyone's arm,
nor be promoted for my charm.
There is more to be than playing coy.

Living life as a balancing game - mother,
daughter, wife, nurse, cleaner, cook, lover
and still bring home a wage.
Who thought up this modern "freedom"?
Where man can love'em and man can leave'em.
This is not free, but life in a cage.
Always jumping to a male agenda
competing on his terms.
No job share, no creche facilities,
no feeding and nappy changing amenities
No time off for menstrual pain,
"hormones" they laugh "what a shame"
No equal pay equal skill
your job they can always fill.
No promotion unless you're sterilised.
No promotion unless you're sexually terrorised.
And this is liberation?

Non-Muslim woman you can have your life.
Mine - it has less strife.
I cover and I get respected,
surely that's to be expected,
for I won't demean the feminine,
I won't live to male criterion,
I dance to my own tune
and I hope you see this very soon.
For your own sake - wake up and use your sight.
Are you so sure that you are right?

Yes, YOU!!! Unless you are one of the 1% of people who aren't. How can you all KNOW that God does or does not exist or that your religion is correct?

The irony is that if I didn't include this sentence, I would get multiple responses from different beliefs "agreeing" with me and complaining about how close minded and stupid people are from another belief group. But that is exactly what I am trying to fight!

I am never wrong, and you know why? Because I believe in the truth, nothing more. Why do people have to be so sure even though they obviously don't have enough evidence to be that sure?

It's true they don't allow them to join. Just ask somebody who's a Freemason. In 1975 they even gave up their tax-exempt status so they would have to let blacks join. And I don't buy the "Well, the have their own lodges" bull. That's called segregation. Furthermore, the Prince Albert Rite has no fellowship or connection to Scottish or York Rite anyway.
So why do you think they get so mad?

Do you see the war with Israel, Iran, Russia and the arab nations taking place within 20 years? I may not even be here as I will be in Heaven in 20 years, but do you see that prophecy come to pass within 20 years? Also do you see the tribulation start within 20-30 years(that is a long time)? If that is the case then the return of Christ is not too far away after that. I believe Christ will return within 30 years. What do you think? Just look at the signs around us. Iran wants to have a nuclear weapn with the help of Russia, and Syria have just recieved Missiles from Russia and chipping will be compulsory within a decade. And Global warming is getting worse everyday, with Australia going through the worst drought in history with hardly any rain. What do you think?

Since Islam had canceled all other religious, in some verses of Quran why does it considers all the people and communities of the world – whether Muslims, Jews and Christians etc. if they believe in Allah and do virtuous deeds they are people of salvation and says:

whoever believes in Allah and the Last day and does good, they shall have their reward from their Lord, and there is no fear for them, nor shall they grieve.[36]

Does not this mean that all communities of the world even after the advent of Islam, as per above-mentioned conditions (belief and action) would get salvation? And still their religions exist with their own strength and they are not annulled on the basis of credence?

(1) “Surely those who believe, and those who are Jews and the Christians and the Sabeans whoever believes in Allah and the Last day and does good they shall have their reward from their Lord, and those is no fear for them, nor shall they grieve.”

(2) Surely those who believe and those who

If natural selection were true Eskimos would have fur to keep warm, but they don't. They are just as hairless as everyone else. If natural selection were true humans in the tropics would have silver, reflective skin to help them keep cool, but they don't. They have black skin, just the opposite of what the theory of natural selection would predict. If natural selection were true humans at northern latitudes should have black skin, but they have white skin instead, except for the Eskimos. Many evolutionist argue that melanin is a natural sunscreen that evolved in a greater amount to protect dark skinned people who live near the Equator. They simply ignore the fact that dark skinned Eskimos live north of the Arctic Circle. Melanin in the skin is not a sound argument in favor of evolution. The theory of natural selection is wrong because it cannot create something in the DNA that wasn't there in the beginning
