It is so cause many people think that Muslims hate Hindus and that's why they are considered as the closest to Christians. Also, we see problems faced by Hindus while going in Kuwait and few other places where the Hindus hide their identity of being Hindu.Other wise people say that they are being constantly asked to leave the place with some what harassment. Not for sure, about the harassment.

Yes it is true and it is the Truth. Christians cannot visualise the exalted respect accorded to mylordJesus The Christ. The Muslim Mystics are engulfed by Visions/Epiphany of mylord. They have to have Faith in the Bible like in the Quran. There is a Commandment in the Quran"Do not differentiate among the Prophets";only Allah knows if one was superior to another". There are far too many sayings of the lord Jesus Christ in Muslim theological and mystical books that if collected and gleaned by a researcher, there would be a publication named: The Muslim Bible ! Muslim children are named after him (in Arabic Bible Jesus is Eissa Masih, and in Arabic Bible the Name of The Lord is Allah - not God) .Muslims accept and honour all the Holy Prophets named in the Bible, with the only difference that no 'sins' are ascribed to them, as in the Bible? Muslims also wait for his parousia(second coming), asserting that he shall rise among Muslims. There are Christian Churches, like the Unitarians whose beliefs about mylord Jesus and the Bible are like the beliefs of the Muslims, generally. Christianity is an Eastern religion like Islam.

…you will find the nearest in love to the believers (Muslims) those who say, “We are Christians.” That is because amongst them are priests and monks, and they are not proud.
And when they (those who call themselves Christians) listen to what has been sent down to the Messenger (Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him), you see their eyes overflowing with tears because of the truth they have recognised…

I m muslim: i dont think we are close to christians, bcoz we believe jesus(pbuh) as one of the messenger of Almigty Allah, like Abraham,David,Moses,Muhammad(pbut) and many more where as christians beleive Jesus(pbuh) as God or son of God, islam stongly object to the both things.

then hw cn we are close to each other.

only the thing is we belive the our Holy Books as word of God, but in that christians made some changes in Bible and its admitted by higher authorities of christian, where muslim have not made any change in the Holy Quran.
