I'm trying to make a connection between that date, and the date of the first argument that the light referred to in Genesis was something other than sunlight. I don't think it's a very old argument, because it wasn't until four or five centuries ago that people knew there was a difference between sunlight, and spiritual light, God's light, etc....

Often when I hear how dumb Christianity is and how 'enlightened' the atheist world is I think to Hollywood. Here you have people living lives as far from God and true Christianity (not that scientology junk) as possible, people who all the world admire and want to be like, and people with enough money and influence to fulfull every thought in their rational mind. Yet if you look at all of the actions of these celebrities who live only for their selves you soon conclude that these people have lost their minds. Look at the Paris Hiltons and Brittney Spears and Lindsey Lohans and Michael Jacksons and Donald Trumps. Even the reality shows reveal the nuttiness of human logic alone. These people are around art and highly educated people and great wine and all of the things that make and define life according to atheist. Yet it is plain to see that these people are bunkers.

Its odd that all the IQ and philosophies and money still dont guarantee a happy sane life that is truely rational

I just read the definition of adultery (it came up when I was reading about the ten commandments in my world history book; studying for finals)

Well, I looked up the definition and it seemingly only applies to married people. Jesus said looking at someone lustfully in itself is adultery. Does this apply to everyone or just people who are married? And masturbation, is it a sin? If so, is it a sin when you're not married?

1. there R no marriages in heaven, No sin in heaven.
2. a man has the sexual knowlage to have more them one lover.
do U belive God would Throw 7 men with knowlage of sex on a woman, Hes a holy God, Not a Orgey God. Or tell them to take turns on her throgh marrage.
3. when it comes to sex, we are more like the animals then to a God that Created sex. unless U believe God created sex to be like the animals,
4. U have to be married, before the lord ur God or U will be thrown into hell for the sin.

religion only exsicest because pepole need to blive in something and if you look at all the god,s they all have there way of thinking and that,s the key to religon. men been abel to think for them self,s that make,s us all god,s but some pepole have to show there views as the right one,s and every religon as to give there respect to the rail provider;s of religon because with out them there would not be eneyone to prech to and that is my mother and yours and every other person that ever preached religon as always had a mother. and then turn and thank some old man,s words from the past and hundred percent belive he is right wow its alot to give up if your all wrong

Well...I'm a Christian...and I am engaged to a WONDERFUL man. He's from another country and he's coming here for school. We intend to get married but it will take a litle time due to some paperwork issues we have to overcome. He doesn't have a lot of money...and so we're going to have a little "wedding ceremony" - but no paperwork...and then he's going to live with me. What do you think? Please be nice...no need to call me names or anything. I know God still loves me and sees my heart. The Bible also says in one of the gospels that if a man sleeps with his betrothed before they're married it's ok as long as they actually GET married and I know we will... I just want to hear your input so I can get the general climate of how we'll be accepted once he's here...thanks!

To believe Jesus looks like the white blonde haired man we have all been shown is not historically accurate and is in some ways perverse to have an image of the son of God. White people will tell you it doesnt matter what color he was but yet they will not condemn this image of the christ looking like a hippie. As a matter of fact the only image they would condemn is a non white image of Jesus.

One of the tenants of the Christian faith, the cornerstone of the belief, is that Jesus Christ died for our sins (specifically the sin of Eve which cast us out of the Garden of Eden).
